    Hello Soul Scene! The Tynesider is a brand-new bar on Gateshead High Street, run by a local lad and me, his partner. We’re passionate about creating a vibrant community space where people can come together, enjoy great drinks, and, of course, fantastic music. As a DJ, I love playing the music I grew up on, my parents were mods in the 60’s and massive Northern Soul fans and it was during a family party at the bar that the Tynesider Soul Club was born. The reaction was great, with customers asking for more and encouraging us to share our events on Soul Scene—so here we are! The Tynesider Soul Club is all about celebrating the timeless sounds of northern soul & classic soul in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We’re just starting out, but we’re excited to grow and connect with the Northern Soul community.
