Another night of 60's 70's Rare, Underplayed, Classic Northern Soul, R&B, and Crossover So we move into our 2nd Year at this fabulous venue at the northern end of Blackwood High Street which has plenty of places to have pre drinks and a bite to eat. If you've already been you know what to expect, if not, then get ready for an excellent atmosphere, friendly like minded people, a busy dancefloor, decent sound system and a good bar(I'm told there will be a bigger stock for us next time ) There are a few local hotels plus the venue has a big car park and campers are welcome. it's only £5 for 6 hours of quality soul music in the Soul Heart of the Valleys. Our 2nd night at this cracking venue - Studio 54, Blackwood The first night was an amazing success so we're looking forward to seeing you all again and we've dropped the entry fee from £7.50 to a Fiver to save messing about with coins Music policy is same as last time, 60's & 70's Rare, Northern, R&B and Crossover. Your guest DJ's for the night are: Nigel Graham of Manor Suite and continued Porthcawl fame Laurence Cullen - Northern Soul Island Alun Kent - Manor Suite Porthcawl and Blackwood Residents as usual: Rob Anthony, Edwin, Walla and Jay The venue is at the northern end of Blackwood High Street, near Wetherspoons, plenty of places to eat and drink before hand, but don't leave it too late, we were packed out last time, doors open at 18:00.
