barbara howard-i dont want your love......... im really lovin this tune at the moment,i been listenin to it from the brilliant midwest funk cd, fast funk soul tune and shes got a incredible voice, it says it is scarce in the booklet, anybody else rate this ? is it played anywhere ? how rare is it ? im n ot sure if its in refo or on youtube, like i say, i been listening from a cd,great tune,any info appreciated......................jason

i recently bought the midwest funk cd that was put out by jazzman records, full of obscure funk and soul stuff, it includes the fantastic fred williams tune tell her,sure its detroit and surrounding areas, quality booklet with it too, worth finding if u dont already have it bud

didnt miss many of these nighters,hitchiked there and back a few times, astral trip always reminds me of morecambe pier for some reason, remember i used to dance on the carpet cos the dancefloor was always full(in the bigroom)

very good question,and one i asked last week but i worded it all wrong in the thread, my point being that diane ducanne-bettwr late than never to me is a crossover record and it was played at wigan, so wigan was playing crossover records before the term was invented regards the rare soul scene,? same goes for stafford 60s newies being new to me but earlier played at wigan, were certain records called 60s newies at wigan ? imberboy i applaud the way you express yrself in words bud,well put mate

what about that jeff perry (?) love dont come no stronger....... god that is a pile of shite, and that wrapped up in a dreamworld tune, utter bollox the pair of them, but thats just my opinion mind
