  17. i love it here, theres a few of us on here who for various reasons cant go out soulin hardly every six months never mind every week ! i know that makes us inferior soulies to some but i disagree with that totally,i still have the passion for the music prob even more now than ever and i sit quietly at home collecting records or listening to records, soulsource is the link to the proper scene that i miss so dearly jason

  20. hello, wld like to know how much for these ? played out etc,i think the sonia ross is a couple of grand ? the commands is incredible group soul to my ears, anyway, any info appreciated, thank you jason
  21. indeed, chalky has put the most comprehensive collection of stafford sounds together that you will find anywhere in the world,i doff my cap to the man for this great achievement, regards the posters question,i dont think anyone played records because they may have been popcorn sounds, that was just a coincidence, stafford championed the midtempo and ballad soul as well as the frantic dancers and big tunes of the day,it really was like a breath of fresh air to dance to johnny gilliam..room full of tears at 4o clock in the morning and other similar records,i did lots of the big nighters of the 80s but for me stafford was the greatest allnighter of them all,the 60s mafia era was an incredibly exciting time to be on the scene jason
  22. just bros acetate-go on and laugh ? if i had a decent lottery win id pay 10k for that, maybe even more because it is absolutely beautiful soul music,it moves me to tears, stunning record ! jason
  23. brilliant as usual, can we download this please ? jason
