    Only just joined Soul Source I have been trying to get back in touch with Iona Johnson ever since 11.11.22 which is the date that Des Parkes passed suddenly. Like AWB the family he left behind are still trying to Pick Up The Pieces

    I collaborated with Des Parles on the Rare Series of compilations when I worked for BMG records. We were partners in our private life for many years and I also had a pirate radio show featuring a lot of Rare Groove. My DJ name was Mother Popcorn. We split up in July of 1985.
