    Don't know the Shirelles track, but love all the others. Have the Cornelius Brothers L.P...great crossover stuff,every track on the album is top notch.

    Completely agree with you Steve, good taste! Bought the book about this kinda stuff (Heey Baby Days...) fascinating! You'd be surprised which groups were actually WHITE! Did you know that the Tams (one of beach music's top bands) actually 'lost' their black fans in the USA in the 60's and had more success and friendships with their white following......ring any bells.

    No 45 ...so qualification is just! 'Why Did You Take Your Love' - JAMES BROWN (from'I Can't Stand Myself') - King. Superb non 45!!

    Like me! I paid £60 for it about 7 years ago!!! Best track on the L.P is 'I Need Your Lovin' which I think came out as a 45 on Pama but i've never seen it.

    Thanks for that, but the reason I asked is because John Manship has another one by them in his price guide @ £500!!! From the same year I might add because the flip is the same as on this 45.

    He should know the true value, he's been on the scene for a while now and been dealing / D.J'ing in records for a few good years. He's a soul source member too! Perhaps he knows something about that Gene Chandler tune us Brits don't!!!

    The label details on my copy (which has the markings exactly as John Manship describes) are not as bright as the print which Dezzie Boy put up, his look almost white (bright silver) whilst mine are a dull silver and do not stand out like Dezzie's does. Also, mine is definitely low-fi......... so, you could be right Stardom my old son!

    Open the item you are waiting for on your ebay page, find the 'make a claim' (or something like that) and click on it. You should then be confronted by some questions and info on what to do next. Good luck. ps. remember if you paid via a credit card, if paypal dont cough up get your money back through your card....I did!

    Some nice early tunes there! Intensions is on Bluelight and i've recently purchased a copy...lovely tune! Temptations is played out but not very often, there's also a version by Gene Chandler on Vee Jay. Chaumonts was a great flip of a Wigan era tune 'I need your love' (on the boots anyway!!!).

    The Eddie Holman unreleased tracks were (are?) also available on a vinyl album (Soul Supply GSLP 31) Good luck in your hunt for a copy of the Victors.......I would'nt hold my breath if I were you!

    Don't think it was booted, and anyway, the one in your picture looks like an original to these eyes. Think you can safely say it's kosher.
