Definitely agree with you there! One of the best blue-eyed soul outfits of the 60's. Great group.

The M.v.p.'s: Turning My Heartbeat Up
I've started a new thread just in case a lot of those who dismissed this as a 'white pop' record have stopped reading this thread.

/redirec...nion_id%3D11620 Read it and then tell me they were a white pop/rock outfit! Thanks to Tabs for finding this. Thought I'd start a new thread just in case a lot of the sceptics have abandoned the previous thread.

The Hun´s Review - Don´t Make Me Love You - Sorro
Well a fair price would be anywhere between £60/100. Manship has it listed @ £150. I traded an ex copy for £60 after picking it up on a car boot for 10p. I wanted another copy and bought a mint(ish) one about 3 years ago for £50 and I thought that was a bargain! I snatched the sellers hand off! I rate it. Hope this has helped, John

Bernard Snith - Gotta Be A Reason
Yep, instrumental on the flip of the second issue. By the way Dave, slightly off topic, loving your avatar mate, great tune! Thought I'd drop that in defence of J.Jama and all the slagging off it seems to be getting on this site.

'You're No Longer A Part Of My Heart'....great Northern/x-over dancer!

Northern Soul Question On Weakest Link
That infuriates me! I remember when Atomic Kitten were doing an interview for a music show and the host asked them about their version of Debbie Harry/Blondie's original 'The Tide Is High'.....I screamed at the TV 'The Paragons!!!!!' it's a reggae classic from 1967!!!!!!!!!! These people shouldn't be working on music shows if they don't know f***k all about it, or at least done some groundwork before opening their overpaid gobs!

Arin Demain

Bloody Hell
Am I right in thinking that there's a lot of these about? I seem to remember something about this record, either there's plenty or someone's carvered them??

Persionettes
What about the flip 'It Happens Everyday'...another corker! Is there a sound file of this Ken?

Marvin Gaye - Lonely Lover
That's the kiddie Mike!!

Marvin Gaye - Lonely Lover
Didn't this get a dodgy release before the other (proper tempo) white label dodgy release and covered up as Eddie Holland with the speed turned up?

More Wants For A Mate
Mine too! Only cost me a tenner though!

More Wants For A Mate
It's the '25th Anniversary' triple album from 1986. All their hits + some superb unissued tracks (about 20!) + nice booklet. The catalogue number is: Tamla Motown - WL72436 Don't think it's ultra rare but has some in-demand tracks for Motown collectors so might not be too easy to get hold of. Think I paid about £10 for mine a good few years back. Hope this has helped. John

Supremes L.P only track (25th Anniversary)

Run Like The Devil
Bobby's 'Look At Me Girl' is a great Northern tune, also an L.P of the same title (1967 ish) and some great stuff on that also.
