  1. Flip's a good un' too! Has very SKA type horns.
  2. Am I right in thinking that there's a lot of these about? I seem to remember something about this record, either there's plenty or someone's carvered them??
  3. What about the flip 'It Happens Everyday'...another corker! Is there a sound file of this Ken?
  4. That's the kiddie Mike!!
  5. Didn't this get a dodgy release before the other (proper tempo) white label dodgy release and covered up as Eddie Holland with the speed turned up?
  6. Mine too! Only cost me a tenner though!
  7. It's the '25th Anniversary' triple album from 1986. All their hits + some superb unissued tracks (about 20!) + nice booklet. The catalogue number is: Tamla Motown - WL72436 Don't think it's ultra rare but has some in-demand tracks for Motown collectors so might not be too easy to get hold of. Think I paid about £10 for mine a good few years back. Hope this has helped. John
  8. Supremes L.P only track (25th Anniversary)
  9. Bobby's 'Look At Me Girl' is a great Northern tune, also an L.P of the same title (1967 ish) and some great stuff on that also.
  10. Prefer the flip myself, stunning Northern dancer! Not surprised you've sold out Funkyfeet! No other way of owning it on vinyl.
  11. Original British release, came out long before Kent released it on a 45. Well worth having, and as Simon say's £10 will get you one.....but you can double that also, I've seen them going for £20 no sweat. Manship's UK releases price guide lists your red demo @ £25.
  12. Is this from the advert on telly at the moment? Can't remember what the advert is about....bunch of women hiding their figures I think???
  13. Couldn't believe my eyes....in the Sun newspaper today (page 15) there's a piece about the 'Top Ten Greatest Dance Records Of All Time'...voted by radio 2 listeners....the usual suspects are there with Michael Jackson's Billie Jean topping the list. Right at number 10 it's the Charades 'Key To My Happiness' !!!!! Yay! How many people are gonna be saying.... "top ten greatest dance records of all time? I've never even heard of number 10!!!"
  14. Flip of the Del Capris is great too! Not to be confused with the Grapevine record (who were actually the Construction).
  15. ...and a ballad version of 'Are You Angry' by Thee Midniters. Also, don't forget the Servicemen's release on Grapevine a few years back.
  16. Ordered mine!
  17. Think the Demo's probably worth the same. Maybe this 45 is getting harder cos' it took me a while to obtain one. Johnny Manship lists at £75. Some positive comments. I love it!
  18. Apologies if I've breached the rules as this DID get a release in the USA (not sure in UK)....BUT just look at this super Dutch sleeve!
  19. Marv Johnson? So who's that on the picture sleeve? Not Marv! When's #8 'There's That Beat' out Dave?
  20. Other side 'Baby Cakes'.....most definitely a Northern stormer becoming very popular. Crumb, I've done the exact thing you're thinking of doing, to be honest MOST Northern 45s have a good deep side so I just flipped them, recorded them and any I weren't that keen on left off the CD. Think you may be in for some great surprises, too many to list, some sound even better the second or third time you hear them. I'll try and post up a track listing.
  21. Cracking flip too 'Hard To Hold Back Tears'.
  22. I've been a fan of this tune for a while now. Put it on my 'Album Only' CD compilation. Superb!
  23. Actually came with a fab picture cover. No p/c on this ebay listing.
  24. What about the UK 45 Chess released 45 from around 1973? Not too expensive for that....and an original UK release.
