If you read the description it actually says it was a 'white labelled' copy that had water damage so I can only presume they used a photo copy for the label?

This thread gives me a chance to mention a great out and out Northern Soul dancer that I've just found, it's in the Tempests 'Someday' mode and it's by the Swingin' Medallions on their first LP. Track is 'M.T.Y.L.T.T' (More Today Than Yesterday) on Smash...check it out, it would go down a storm!

Been buying off John for at least 40 years. He did run Soul Bowl from West Winch (after Portland Street, still King's Lynn) for a period of time during the 90's and I used to visit there regular with a pocket full of cash. I remember getting these gems for between £20-30...Disciples Of Soul (Running Back), Majjestees (Mutt), Four Pros (Just Another Girl), Billy Hambric (Drum), Gene Chandler (Mr. Big Shot) among others. Rest easy big man.

I've been doing exactly the same thing, converting my vinyl to digital format (CDs), WAV files, and the programme I use does actually up the volume automatically on the lo-fi tracks from those LPs. I've only been recording the tracks that never came out anywhere else in the UK.

The Fleet All-Dayer - Fletton, Peterborough 1983. Enjoyed it so much because I learned so many new sounds that day and remember writing a list out of wanted tunes. Was with good mates and I remember buying a copy of Frank Wilson on UK Tamla Motown, still got it of course!
