  1. Not the Magicians on Chartmaker then?!!! Just to let you know, Servicemen 'Sweet Magic' came out a few years back on UK Grapevine. Ok if you collect UK stuff I suppose. (Backed with an unreleased track too!).
  2. No one know this tune then?
  3. Sorry Prophonics, I don't know how to do them....someone one here got a soundfile?
  4. The Bobby Patterson is wanted for the other side 'I'm In Love With You'....I got £60 for a decent copy on UK Action about 6 years ago.
  5. Jimmy Helms on Date - 'Always' ...any one else notice it's got almost the same guitar riff as Don Gardner's 'My Baby Likes To boogaloo'.!! Great little tune (also done by Geno Washington but without THAT guitar riff).
  6. Had this a few years after being recommended by a mate. Cracking!
  7. Chants on RCA UK issue about £80. Never seen a demo though.
  8. Tears Of Joy???
  9. You've been pm'd..!
  10. That's ok mate.....you must be a bootleg then! Almost the same but ever so slightly different
  11. soulsider???? Hey you're almost me!!! Can I play Joan Baxter & the Beatmen 'Baby Love' on Embassy then?
  12. Seen it done a couple of times on ebay. They usually put a price of 1p (you have to put something to fool ebay). Think about it....an ebay fee of 5p, or whatever it is, and you've got loads of Soul people looking at your ad!
  13. It's just an AD for their night mate. Sneaky way of doing it!!!!
  14. I like it too! Here's the L.P
  15. Sounds like something from James Brown's band 'The Famous Flames', or a Stax/Atlantic recording. Definitely a 1960's Soul instrumental. Maybe someone on here can recognise it for you.
  16. Chants - £80
  17. In the post today mate.
  18. I can see it happening.......
  19. I always thought it came out twice, one with 'I Need Your Love' and another with the other flip ('I've Got To Find...'). As far as I am aware, 'I Need Your Love' is a better side than 'I've Got To Find...' Think John Manship just made an error in his sound file. It's only what I've heard though, so not 100%.
  20. Classic style Northern stomper, not in any of the price guides. The backing sounds very familiar but I can't place it. Took me ages to get a copy, then only because it was listed as Garage. R. Domar has a vg copy for £65.....so anyone on here know what it's really worth or if it's ever been played out? Definitely blue-eyed and the group did several garage/beat type stuff but this one is Northern Soul all the way! and certainly seems to be a hard one to locate. Sorry, can't do sound files.
  21. Not as good as their other one on Chess.... 'Can't You See That I'm Lonely'
  22. The Buckinghams do a great Northern Soul rendition of 'I'll Be Back' on one of their L.P's... You know the one...."If you go, it would break my heart I know, but I'll be back again...."
  23. Vontastics on St. Lawrence is a good Northern version too.
  24. Of course it's not worth that Pete.... however....Ebay + big in-demand oldie (2nd Issue I quoted...) = £25
  25. I sold Bernie Williams for £25...legit re-issue (should even have a 'Frankford Wayne' stamp).
