  1. There's also another vocal to 'Festival Time'...Detroit Sound 'We're Here To Party' on Fizz
  2. That's a genuine banner too!! But at least we ADMIT that we're crap...
  3. If he's anything like his team, he never follows (or hangs onto) a lead....
  4. Yeah I remember him! Young lad (then!!) and knew his stuff at 9 years old!!! Still got the ska/reggae stuff too and of course some nice northern bits i've had off you John
  5. Sorry mate..but I'll keep a look out because I do collect Pama stuff. If I find one I'll let you know ok.
  6. The first release was mis-titled. Should have been titled 'Kiss' but somehow they messed up. The Velvets E.P has the title right. Hey Diddy, I never knew the Fantastic Four l.p version of 'Godess Of Love' was different...I'll have to dig it out and give it a spin.
  7. Is it a soul cut? I got one on Pama UK by him....'I'm An Outcast'...pretty good soul tune.
  8. If no luck, I have a UK demo I'll part with.
  9. 2 seperate issues, I have the US 'Something Keeps...' and it has 'Pamela, Pamela' on the flip.
  10. Have you heard his 'My Eyes Break Out In Tears' on Fontana?, nice atmospheric dancer! The one you mention was also done by 'Northern Soul Inc.' (or something like that) in the 70's.
  11. I think this organisation is growing up and working out who/which of it's customers actually really matter , and maybe , maybe is begining to getting it sorted? [ no , I'm not a shareholder! ] pete
  12. Looks very similar to my collection Pete, think we must have the same tastes! Interesting that you didn't credit Lee Perry instead of The Creators 'Kimble' on Amalgamated?? Still laughing at Stranger Cole's 'You Should Never Have To Come'....Christ, I'd hate to see the size of his gonads!! BTW, Thanks for the nod re- the Pama forum, I'm Johnny Too Bad on it.
  13. I've got that E.P but my cover has a big chunk torn off it.....mmmm maybe you ought to e-mail that seller... btw, take a look at their feedback list and view some of the sleeves they've sold, some are gorgeous and gone for a lot of money!!
  14. Thats the boy Tommy Potts, he's the guy when it comes to rare Northern Soul mate. Ex Brit I think.
  15. You gotta admit, they're bloody good though aint they! Just thinking, if you had a rare L.p or E.P with no cover, wondered if they could make you one just like the original?
  16. I always say to my kids...I've suffered and so will you!
  17. Re- 'My Life With You' ...Yeah, 1980's was when I heard it...loved it...bought it....still love it!
  18. Jimmy Bailey is an Uptempo Ashford/Simpson Northern tune, so not the same one. Anyway....I heard about these Mexican bidders before. I've missed something though...why are they doing this???
  19. thanks Pete. I've e-mailed someone called D. Sandford. Quick reggae question...am I right in thinking that Jackie Edwards 'Hush' is the same song as Jimmy Bailey's Northern tune on Columbia??
  20. My apologies to Craig for slightly digressing from his original thread....but Pete, I can't get on the Pama forum!! I have registered and all that but they have not sent me any validation e-mail and it's been a few days?? Do they always take this long? I have tried to reply to some threads but I keep getting the 'Not allowed to use' error message. Any pointers?
  21. Cracking tune this one! I included this on our local Soul night free givaway CD. Also, 'Give A Man A Break' was released on orange 'Up Look' re-issue a few years ago with Delegates Of Soul on the flip.
  22. Don't think I've seen that one Ian. Is it/was it on this thread??
  23. Here's the deadwax markings on my Atco distributed orange label. Bought this off Ian Clarke about 10 years ago for £25. scratched in: HB - 11335 - 11 AT (very small) W (very small)
  24. Don't think so Dave, I've never heard it out (then, I don't go to that many outside of East Anglia!!!). Bit of a 'Tighten Up' groove going on with the record.
