  2. Wow! You don't see that many pitures/photos of them.
  3. On the flip of their massive hit.

  5. Apparently Pete, 'Numark' do a vinyl cutter. I was discussing these white boots yesterday and a guy mentioned about these vinyl cutters available. Ayone know anything about them?
  6. The more recent releases on the label did throw up a few surprises...how about Johnny Sayles 'Tell Me (Where I Stand)' on the flip of 'I Can't Get Enough...' never before released on vinyl and a stonker of a tune!! Got to be worth a punt surely?
  7. Hey Ken...dug the album out. amongst the MOR tracks there's a few nice Motown style tunes... 'Falling In Love With You' , 'Lover' & 'My Romance'. Not bad, 4 tracks from that album worth a listen then.!
  8. Excuse my ignorance...but is it (FW) definitely going on John Manship's auction??
  9. Pub singer!!?? Yeah, that's where he's been! I always compere Don Hysong to Dean Martin...he sounds hammered! Great song though!
  10. 2 great unissued Wand sides there, very subtle differences in the alternate vocal take. Love the one's you posted Darryl, never heard those before! Great stuff! This is what it's all about.
  11. Bloody hell, you're right ken!! I completely overlooked that album when i just thumbed through their lot. I knew I'd heard it before but forgot all about it and never thought to look at that MOR l.p...very fast uptempo Northern that's for sure!!! Must play the rest of the tracks on that album to find anymore 'overlooked' gems.
  12. It's by 'Sounds, Inc.' on USA Liberty backed with a version of Billy Preston's 'I Am Coming Through'.
  13. Both these tracks originally came out on the Supremes album 'A Go-Go' from 1966. 2 stompers!
  14. Amazing how when someone releases a version in the charts ,how people rush out to re-activate the old one's Lou Rawls' 'Dead End Street' the next one then! Currently sampled and in the charts by Kano...
  15. Vows cost me £60 and Invitations cost me £30(ish)...I was the ONLY bidder for the Invitations (mint copy) about 2 years ago!! Be interesting to see what Johnny Manship gets for it. Mine, like Manny's is a demo, are issues harder to get?
  16. No address on mine....but has 'After The Session' (the 'proper' instrumental) / Adam (crap comedy with good backing track) Moon Shot 6706 After The Session is actually the 'B' side. My copy has '1967' scribbled on the sleeve.
  17. I guess anything between £10/20 ??? It's not an easy pressing to get.
  18. 'B' side 'Puff Adder'....a great 'mod' R&B tinged romp!
  19. MUSIC COMBINATION featuring JOEY CONTI - The Story Of My Life (AMM 0013) Anyone got a sound file?
  20. Columbia UK original like Steve say's....or you could plump for the re-issue (boot?) on SOS covered as 'Boogaloo Investigator' - Matt Parsons Orchestra (as subtley put by Steve ) for about a fiver.
  21. That L.P called 'After The Session' on Soul Supply??? 'After The Session' of couse is the Subway Riders on Moon Shot.
  22. Yes, MR stamped. Good sound though Pete. Have you played the flip 'It's Been Raining In My Heart'....? Great mid/beat ballad tune!!
  23. Hi Larry, welcome to soul-source. Fantastic tune that Presentations, bought it last year for about £40. What instrument did you play, or where you a singer? The Music Combination....didn't they do backing for 'The Living Color' 'Thank The Lord For Love'????
