  1. Original should be on EEE 0069 or 0070 (came out twice, same year with different flip's). Was re-issued (not booted) on BMR (Beach Music Records).
  2. Thanks chaps, I shall keep an eye out for the US 45.
  3. I know this has been discussed before but I can't remember the outcome! I have the UK 45 of Lou Rawls' 'Dead End Street' (Capitol) and the L.P 'Too Much!' which contains 'Dead End Street' and a brilliant monologue to kick it off. The UK 45 does not have this. Am I right in presuming that the USA 45 doesn't have the monologue either and the only way to get it is on the l.p? I have to say, without the monologue, the record just doesn't have the same impact.
  4. That's Claudette of 'Skinheads A Bash Them' fame and the Prophets are the Cimarons AKA 'The Hot Rod All Stars'. A hard 45 to get now as it's in demand, I was lucky and got a decent copy for £30 afew months back from a private seller. The last one I saw on ebay went for £68!!!!
  5. Oh yes! Doh! Sorry Sean. Was the 'Gotta Find A Way' (unreleased then I presume) from the same Kapp sessions then or from the later GWP sessions?
  6. Hesitations is on their 'The New Born Free' L.P - Kapp / London (UK) P.m'd you regarding Soul Majestics
  7. Jackie duetted a lot with Millie small too, so it could be her?? I think I'd go with Joyce Bond though.
  8. The flip of the Soul Bros is the Wailers, that's why it sells so high.
  9. I'm sure the other take was only issued on a French E.P and features a female singer too. It did come out as the flip to the normal take on an Island bootleg fairly recently. The album is 'Put Your Tears Away' and is on the UK pink Island label.
  10. Earlier than that I think? I'm sure these bootlegs were 1969??? Pete? If you look in the run out grooves you'll see the WI (UK Island) stamp and number, well it is on mine anyway.
  11. Not forgetting the UK release TMG 790. This has the 'Double O' title too!
  12. In-demand double sider of the highest calibre. Will set you back anything from £50 - £100
  13. Soul City -Cold Hearted Blues/Who Do You Think You Are (Goodtime)
  14. I have one for sale. I've p.m'd you ok.
  15. Gigi & The Charmaines!
  16. Gigi & The Charmaines! I actually done a nice article for 'Record Collector' regarding the anniversary 45's (and the lack of them in their UK price guide!!!)...complete with some nice scans for their 'Value Added Facts' page. Alas they didn't print it!!
  17. Looks like I just won the Magnetics!!!
  18. Hi Paul, welcome to the site. I think baz is referring to the Detroit group 'The Volumes'...
  19. One of the best boots out there! £25 I reckon, maybe more now. Great flip, 'Connie'.
  20. Does anyone know if the Motown catalogue with the Frank Wilson auction is ready yet? I ordered it a while back but aint got it yet
  21. It has been £1,000 at one stage. Not sure now??
  22. Gotta say, I agree with you Pikeys dog!
  23. I have that 45 too, not an easy kent one to get. I always thought Kent had the rights to everything they released?? I'm sure Ady will come on here and clear this up....
  24. Yeah, good mock up though! Went for £31 on the bay!!!!! I like the photo and wouldn't mind a copy of that....not to do what's been done there, just want to put it in a frame with their V.I.P 45 for the local record shop.
  25. Thanks for that de-to. That will come in useful...still need a colour one though....from the 1960's!!!
