  1. That's very true my friend.
  2. I have a fairly rough copy that plays great. I've pm'd you ok.
  3. I have a Radiants - One Day I'll Show You / Father Knows Best (Chess 1832) EX+ (one light surface mark). I live in Kings Lynn, you can always pop round and pick it up/play it if you're interested I've PM'd you. John
  4. It's on the 'Talk Of The Grapevine' L.P (GRAL 1000). Produced by Richard Wylie, possibly around 1967.
  5. Yes, Grapevine L.P only. Another quality track using the 'Going To A Happening' backing track. From Hestor's vaults, unreleased in the 60's. A gem!
  6. More of an 'early Reggae' tune rather than a Ska tune. It's recently been featured in an advert I believe. Good luck in finding a copy, stonking tune!
  7. Possibly Ian .....however, that is the 70's harder to get bootleg on styrene, good sound quality as well. That's the only 'End' 45 I have so it gets the sleeve (which came off 'Little Anthony - Tears on my pillow'...an early one with the newer design label and sleeve, plus the L.P's advertised on the flip are early one's too....Imperials, Chantels etc).
  8. Here's the only one I have, pictures of albums on the flip.
  9. I have a copy for sale. White demo, not in M condition though I'm afraid. I've P.M'd you.
  10. 'I'm Running A Losing Race' - Tyrone 'Wonder Boy' Davis
  11. 1976 ....I'll get me Crombie.
  12. Nancy Wilcox - Comin' On Strong / My Baby (RCA - Victor)
  13. Yes, I have a couple that I got around 8 years back! They have the Soul Bowl logo (see my avatar) and address on them. Nice light green card, good quality.
  14. 'Blow Wind' is a great mid-tempo soulful tune. Send it to me for free if you don't want it....ok, I'll pay the postage.
  15. What about their 2 stonking sides on Soul City / UK Liberty 'Train Keep On Moving / I'll Be Loving You Forever'....gems!
  16. I had one with Eddie Holland - I'm On The Outside Looking In / blank. Still got Candi Staton - Now You've Got The Upper Hand / Oscar Perry - (can't remember the title, but that 70's thing on PERRITONE?)
  17. Totally agree, superb ballad. Put it one of my 'Mid-Tempo,Beat Ballads & Deep Soul' CDs
  18. B6 The Incredibles has it's first UK outing of 'Another Dirty Deal' on the flip.
  19. Glad you got a copy mate, awesome tune! It's in my D.J playbox but I must admit it hasn't had an airing out yet but it will!
  20. Here you go Pete, got it from Norwich record fair about 4 years ago. Not cheap really, blank flip, no markings in the wax:
  21. It's the 'Do What You Gotta Do' album on Liberty. Just like John Manship, I too collect bootlegs and have a good collection of them in a box, seperate from my originals. Personally, I don't think any of these 70'S (mainly) boots are particularly easy to get nowadays: EDDIE PARKER - I'M GONE (AWAKE) DEL LARKS - JOB OPENING (QUEEN CITY blue/white) NEW WANDERERS - LET ME RENDER MY SERVICE/AINT GONNA DO YOU NO HARM (READY) HESITATIONS - I'M NOT BUILT THAT WAY / PUSH A LITTLE HARDER (L.P only track) (KAPP) CAROLE WALLER - STOP AND GET A HOLD OF MYSELF / THIS LOVE OF MIND (USA) BILL LUCAS - CAUSE I KNOW YOU'RE MINE (DIONN) MAGICIANS - SWEET MAGIC / CONNIE (CHARTMAKER) ROSE BATTISTE - I MISS MY BABY / HIT & RUN (REVILOT grey) TONY GALLA - IN LOVE (SWAN first boot yellow with black lettering) MAGNETICS - HEART YOU'RE MADE OF STONE / LADY IN GREEN (BONNIE) BOBBY MAC - SHY GUY (VENDED) GWEN OWENS - WANTED AND NEEDED (VELGO) BERNARD WILLIAMS - IT'S NEEDLESS TO SAY /FOCUSED ON YOU (HARTHON) LENNY CURTIS - NOTHING CAN HELP YOU NOW (END styrene b&w label...super quality) ALEXANDER PATTEN - A LIL LOVIN' SOMETIMES (CAPITOL) JOHN & WIERDEST - CANT GET OVER.../NO TIME (TIE no date stamp) BILLY PROPHET - WHAT CAN I DO (SUE) DETROIT SOUL - ALL OF MY LIFE (MUSIC TOWN) GARY HAINES - KEEP ON GOING (SOUND) DICKIE WONDER- NOBODY KNOWS (SOUND OF SOUL) If you put that lot on ebay, and be honest with their origin, I reckon you'd come away with a nice wedge.
  22. Yes, I agree, terrible.
