I have the Gloria Henry, great little unknown with a slab of heavy FUNK on the flip, not listed anywhere and I can't say what it's worth as my copy was a junk shop find many years ago. I suspect that it would probably sell more for the funk side than the northern side.
Both sides get my vote!
Bought the 'good looking' boot a few years ago now, wonder what they go for? Bet they're not easy to aquire anymore?
edit...in fact I remember seeing one for sale last weekend on a list for £50!
Larry Santos came out on a 45, that's why it's not mentioned.
Only massive instrumental tracks I can think of from L.Ps are 'Six O'Clock' and 'Afternoon Of The Rhino' so it could be either of those?
Ha!! That's record collecting for you! I was after a copy of the Admirations 'Don't Leave Me' on One-der-ful...., bought a copy then realised I had it all the time! Doh!
Mick,
Mary Wells' 'When I'm Gone' was originally on her 'Vintage Stock' L.P (US Motown 653), although I'm not sure if my copy is stereo, don't think it is as it doesn't say so I'm presuming it's mono.
A very interesting site indeed! Thanks for posting it up (now added to 'my favourites' list).
The Majestics on Linda, according to this, recorded 'Say You' on V.I.P which I thought was Richard Street & The Monitors.....I'm confused???

Here's The Blenders....look at their 1971 record on Kelway 101...... anyone heard it!!!!! Wouldn't have thought it got much plays on the radio, even in the more liberal 1970's!!!!
