  1. Bobby Lester DEMO if you need it. PM'd you.
  2. For my two penneth worth, I thought the one trickbag posted is the original and the darker yellow ones with skewiff credits are boots? Could be wrong but I was dubious when I received a darker yellow copy and credits were slightly off centre so I asked on here and someone mentioned it was a boot, having said that, Manship does NOT mention a bootleg in 'the book'.
  3. Pete is spot on! I've had the original and the boot at the same time, both light green but the boot had rough patches on the label.
  4. I'll dig my copy out and get back to you regarding condition ok.
  5. I know a lot of Jamaicans loved the Marvel superhero characters and there are labels including Spider-Man, The Thing and Hulk
  6. Reckon-the-Stardust-45-is-theother-1967-take-then? Certainly-sounds-different-than-the-Kent-CD-take. Apologies-for-text.....spacerbar-packed-up!!!
  7. Sorry mate, I don't know how to convert, someone might come up with it though.....
  8. On the Scepter L.P 'Tomorrow Never Comes', 'I Don't Have A Mind Of My Own' is definitely a different cut than the 45 with added girls and horns, they chant "Dreaming, dreaming" between the lyrics too.
  9. I think it's the flip 'Storm Clouds' that's the more soulful/harder of the 2 sides.
  10. Initially released on a Grapevine L.P I believe?
  11. I have that one too Neal, absolute stonking Northern Soul! Thought you was collecting 70's and finished with 60's???
  12. It's already been covered by a contemporary artist, saw it in HMV on a CD....think it might have been Imelda May??
  13. £11.97 and free delivery!!! That's a buy! Thanks Dave. John
  14. Thanks guys. eamsy, is the Chris Hill album on Motown then?
  15. What a quick response!!! Thanks Karl, that's given me all the info I need.
  16. Need some help from you guys. I have a Motown CD someone did for me ages ago, listening to it in the car today and I realised Imissed a couple of tracks off the sleeve listing. Both 70's and male vocals. The first may be called 'Where Are We Going' and the chorus goes.... "Tell me where are we going, what's the future showing, where are we heading...." The second track may be titled 'I Don't wanna Lose You' and starts off with the line "I don't wanna hear no trouble talk" then the chorus goes "I don't wanna lose you, gonna give you respect and I want to protect our love" Any ideas???
  17. Not forgetting their original version of 'I Fought The Law'....absolute Garage classic!!! I believe when Bobby was murdered he was made to drink petrol, you can guess the rest.
  18. Always rated that flip side H, another fine piece of Detroit magic. Price has shot up since I bought my copy from Soul Bowl for about £30
  19. I actually do collect the good look-a-like boots when I can get hold of them. I do have the Del-Larks one which you have and I think I paid about £25 for it a good few years back now, just love the record but realised I'd never own an original so settled for that. On a similar subject, I also got hold of a nice Lenny Curtis on End (styrene, white demo)...now they don't turn up much do they?
