  1. Love that guitar riff on 'Sensitive Mind', that's got to be bloody hard to play!!
  2. Which equates to what? £33 ish, 70's boots go for that anyway don't they, so maybe the buyer knew what he was purchasing.
  3. I see Manship got a nice £214 for Jimmy Wonderful & The Honey Bees 'Ain't Nothing Shakin' Here' on Blue star. I have one for sale and was Just wondering what I should put it up for? Obviously not going to get what John got but what would a reasonable price be?
  4. There was a small discussion about the record on Radio 2 several years back when Mark Lamarr was playing some tunes. He described it as "Garage meets Motown". I love it, and I put the flip 'One By One' on a compliation Garage CD.
  5. That is a good looking 45, I'd have kept it at that price.
  6. I see the track was featured on 'Great Night Out' (new TV series set in Stockport).
  7. If you're selling the GC copy Mark let me know price.
  8. It was also released as 'Dog war' on UK Blue Beat and is the same as the first Island cut. However, all UK Blue Beats miss a milli-second of the opening piano riff!
  9. I have that Miracles LP. Is there NO USA release?
  10. Another one with a 'better' alternate cover is the Marvin Gaye & Kim Weston 'Take Two' L.P. Far superior cover on the UK release.
  11. How much would a 'boot' copy cost me?
  12. Was Drifters 'At The Club' played on the scene? I'm pretty sure it was.
  13. Brilliant piece of Blue-Eyed Soul, a search of ebay, Musicstack & Gemm have produced absolute zero! Even the 'Ripete' re-issues have all sold out!!
  14. PM'd you re- Rare Bread EDIT: Rare Bread - great flip 'Chain Reaction'
  15. There is another version on Lanor by Hugh Boynton, cheaper too!
  16. Not sure if it commands a higher price but it's definitely hard to get (so is vol 1 but I have that one). I been trying for a while and they never turn up on ebay.
  17. Ok, not so long ago there was an influx of the Goldmine CD's 'For Millionaires Only' volume 4, selling for anything between 99p- £5. Now there seems to be an endless supply of volume 2. What I want to know is, what happened to volume 3? That seems to be the hardest one to obtain, why is that?
  18. Just a bit of useless info: Little Eddie Taylor was a dwarf, there was a photo of him on one of 'Soul Bowl's' old lists..
  19. I've had 2 gone to France, apparently never received! 1 to Germany the same thing. I'm leaving France off the radar from now on.
