  1. The RCA distributed one in my picture came in that orange sleeve, that sleeve has refrences on the back about Motown L.Ps available (1979) at that time and RCA distributed at the bottom of it.
  2. See above post. I bought that around 1980 at an all-dayer in Peterborough
  3. Mmm, my RCA distributed 45 has 1965 on the label....click to enlarge..
  4. The second press has fetched good money also, I've seen it go for £75. It's nice looking and has great sound quality, the difference is the '45' on the label is smaller on the second press.
  5. Played 'Al Greene & The Soul Mates - Don't Leave Me' the other day and noticed a similarity with the J.J.Barnes record. Both Detroit of course.
  6. Yes, I have that L.P Pete 'Modern Sounds Of The Orioles'
  7. What's a fair price? I see Manship has it at £75, Anglo American £40, seen it at £50. Guess £30 would be fair?
  8. If those Barons are the same outfit on RCA Victor then yes deffo white group. Edit: Ah, a Detroit band? They sound white anyway from the sound clip, garage soul.
  9. Huns Review is a terrific record, I found one years ago on a car boot for 10p and traded it with a guy who knew his onions, no one had ever heard it before then. I think he traded it with Tim at Anglo American and the price shot up to around £200. I know it's fairly in-demand but £560......wow!!!!! I really thought it would reach around £300 being on John Manship's and all. BTW, I managed to secure a minter for £50 off ebay after regretting letting mine go.
  10. Just found it. Mint. Labels are reversed as all are. PM'd you.
  11. I think I have one in a box somewhere, I'll take a look and get back to you ok.
  12. Did this come out on 45? I have it on their brilliant Whittier LP 'Unlimited'... Also contains this little beauty... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDBeG5nm5Is
  13. Thee Midniters - Cheatin' Woman Off their LP 'Unlimited' (Whittier) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDBeG5nm5Is
  14. I love 'em! I've spent a few good hours putting some of the best 'album only' tracks onto CD's. I am a massive collector and got most of the good one's + most of the Motown L.P catalogue.
  15. A few ok tracks on it are: 'Baby What Song' 'Comin Up In The World' and 'Subway Man'
  16. The Otis Redding track first surfaced on a CD compilation, no vinyl (except the one in discussion) exists.
  17. This one BIN.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NORTHERN-SOUL-SILKY-HARGRAVES-KEEP-LOVING-ME-inst-/181153958782?pt=UK_Records&hash=item2a2d9e0b7e

  19. i remember when the Silky Hargraves Dearborn re-issue/boots (whatever) were doing the rounds a couple of years ago, £30 to start with then they dwindled down to about a fiver!
  20. You're right Richard, there are 2 more on ebay already starting at 9.99.
  21. The instrumental + it looks good, nice repro label. I'll only go a tenner though.
  22. I don't usually buy 78's but when I saw this lush piece of Doo-Wop in a charity shop for 50p I couldn't resist. Especially as there is no UK 45 release.
  23. Similar looking to Chris Clark in that photo. I did google Miss Langley....very nice indeed.
