  1. Manship's guide says the boot is styrene with white label whilst the original is vinyl and yellow label. Well, my copy is styrene and yellow label....is this a boot? I can't find any reference to a yellow styrene copy anywhere. EDIT: BTW, what a tune 'Sore Loser' is! Knocks the 'A' side into touch.
  2. There is a recent batch of bootlegs, some are easy to tell as they don't have the flip (one sided) and the houses/skyscrapers aren't as defined, but there are some that look almost identical to the original with the flip-side but like prophonics has said, there is NO stamp in the run out.
  3. Sent one (via ebay) to Mexico and he's claiming he never received it. He has 5 feedback I have 2,656. Paypal have held the money, do you think I'll get the money back? I have the postal receipt but I bet the Royal Mail will say it's all down to the Mexican P O ...or will I get a refund off Royal Mail??
  4. You're probably right, I have a few on Soma and they tend to lean towards 'Garage'. They had a sizeable hit with The Castaways 'Liar Liar'.
  5. Is this film our 'Quadrophenia'? Can't wait to see it, not in any cinema's here yet (East Anglia). Wonder what the Yanks would make of it, after all they are the originators of the music....
  6. I have a copy somewhere if you're still interested?
  7. No worries, I'll try and get some kind of list together ok
  8. I have loads of obscurities, too many to mention on here but here's one off the top of my head... Famous Chromes - Teach Me/I Gotta Groove On (Drive) 60's funk?
  9. I have the Fabulous Denos (King) white promo. EX Any good to you?
  10. I'd say Dee Clark guest vocalist in those last few photo's for sure dobber.
  11. I'm pretty sure I have the 45 if you're still interested.
  12. I have a Tommy Frontera that is f***ed so I am going to give it a try with this method, definitely!
  13. I tried to order from ebay then got refunded saying not available. Where can I get them?
  14. Sorry, my bad. I checked my copy. I just couldn't remember the Detroit Strings track!!
  15. Huh? My 7" only has one track on the flip, Willie Jones.
  16. BTW, the L.P is on Philips, the label they were on in the mid-sixties when they recorded their uptempo soul sounds.
  17. I have their L.P where they basically have 'updated' their old sounds. That track in particular is a stand out sound given the northern treatment. Think the L.P is from around 1966. So the answer you are looking for is that the 'Goldmine' CD track is probably the more northern soul sounding L.P cut.
  18. Superb post! Ham acting but that film looks great, I want to see it!
  19. Half of my prediction, around £50 GBP then... Still a great LP to have though.
