  1. The best tune by Anita and out and out Northern is 'Something Must Be Done' on Pye. 'London Life' is featured on a Marble Arch cheapo L.P as is 'Something Must Be Done'.
  2. That is what I always thought/heard.
  3. Yes, I have it. The Babs McNair track is 'It Happens Everytime'
  4. And I have an acetate. A million would secure it.
  5. Isn't 'Ram You Hard' by the strangely named 'John Lennon'?
  6. Both listed at £100/125 in the latest RC guide.
  7. Re- Soul Rebels - If it's the orange/white UK Upsetter label it's a tough one as some had UK sleeves and JA vinyl (mine for starters!). Soul Revolution is a tougher one to find on original and would exceed £50 I'd say.
  8. PM sent re- Bell Brothers
  9. This is the 45.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THE-CAVALIERS-Hold-To-My-Baby-Ooh-It-Hurts-Me-NORTHERN-SOUL-45-OUTTA-SIGHT-7-/161648474548?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item25a2fff9b4
  10. What LP is it? The Kent RCA CDs from several years back?
  11. Yes, previously unreleased and only came out on an RCA lookalike 45 by 'Outta Sight'
  12. I have a 'Worried Over You' backed with the equally great 'Gone, Gone, Gone' on Jet Set (WD). EX+ £40 post free if you want it.
  13. Wonder if any group members are still around and know about their fame on the NS scene? Just imagine their faces if they were to watch Elaine's film!
  14. Which brings to my original question, didn't mean it to sound like a daft question but it was the name that threw me, it just sounded Hispanic and with the exposure on Elaine's NS film thought I'd start a thread about them as I never heard that much on them. I thought they sounded blue-eyed (or maybe 'brown-eyed' which is another term I've heard used), but hey, people in the States thought the Righteous Brothers were Afro-Americans! I do collect blue-eyed/Carolina Soul myself and was just wondering if I should put the Salvadors on a blue-eyed CD compilation I was putting together for the car. Obviously now I know. Thanks guys for all the great information.
  15. Not sure if this is the right section, or if this has been discussed before but is there a picture/photo of the group? Are they blue-eyed, Hispanic or Afro American? They sound like blue-eyed soulsters to me.
  16. Billy Ocean - Love Really Hurts... (Wigan?) Real Thing - You To Me Are Everything / Can't Get By Without You (Mecca)? Flip of Mr. Bloe was played! Maybe they were played, I dunno?
  17. Yes it is! They've obviously given up trying to sell it for 80...been there ages.
  18. There's A British Tamla Motown copy of Bobby Taylor in our local Oxfam., I'm sure it was £80 and think it's still there? If you want it I can find out and perhaps offer them less?
  19. Wow! Enough for a couple of albums. Be great to see some of these on vinyl. Kent, Grapevine....come on!
  20. An all round great 45 to have, no excuses, every box should have a copy and it's cheap as chips.
  21. Independence is the second issue? I have it on MMC would this be local release or the other way around?
  22. Got my first copy for 10p off a car boot. Traded it on for £60 worth of tunes with my mate Perry. Missed having it around so got another off ebay for £50, class act. I see 'Danger Zone' is a Wilson Pickett tune, was it ever released by him?
  23. Yeah me too, a slower paced take. There's also a version by Sly & The Family Stone.
  24. Is this the one currently being played on a TV advert?
