Strikes me that the modern day bootleggers have recognised the market for 70's boots and have taken the initiative to cash in whilst they can.
You've hit the nail on the head there I think, Illusive.
Fortunately I have the original O'Jays 45 anyway
There was a pressing in the 70's!!!

I was going to buy that L.P but I think you have got to take a chance on whether you get the 45 or not, it doesn't give any guarantees only that the first 400 have it.
I got an emidisc of Candy Staton 'Upper Hand' and was thinking of putting it on ebay. It's quite low-fi and will of course list it as a 'boot'. I bet I still get a nice return for it though.
Invitation - 'Band Of Angels'. I like some of Manfred Mann's early stuff '64/65 when they had a bit of a Mod sound. Later stuff like 'Pretty Flamingo' was a great tune.
Presume these are like the 'Golden Oldies' record club I used to be into during the 70's where they send you a catalogue to choose records from? If you don't choose any or say you don't want any that month they post you their 'record of choice' instead. You had to commit yourself to buying so many per year.
