Having not heard Bobby Mitchell 'Well I Done Got Over It' until an hour or so ago I realised I have it by Bobby Powell on Whit. Powell seems to have taken the writing credits, even though his version is about 4 years later!

Not that easy to find, Amazon sold out, none on Discogs, none anywhere!

This one fits the bill perfectly, a kind of 'Mamas & The Papa's' meets Northern Soul. Unfortunately no youtube clip (or fortunately for some ).

Anyone got any info on this release? Earnest Nelson (E.N) = Earl Nelson (Jackie Lee) possibly? Ray Nelson a relative? From Hollywood, California so same area as Mirwood stuff.

Well, the US Veep one is actually 'Premature Golden Sands' which also came out on UK Island.....

Was a higher price several years ago but seems to have dipped back down to a more reasonable amount now.
