  1. Keith had recorded a tune around 1967 for someone called 'I Died Today'.... well in 1974 that came true. Some say it was suicide....
  2. Well well, thanks RobbK! ...and just to prove there were some good tracks on MSR here's a Northern dancer....
  3. Did she also go under the name Teri Summers? It's just that Keith recorded with a Teri Summers on M.S.R. Here's a pic...
  4. WOW! Some classics and incredibly rare 45s!! Jealous.... Interestingly, a track on your first mix, I have been speaking to one of The Tikis (Hey Girl) sister, I sent her a CD including that track and the flip (her brother part wrote 'Hey Girl'). Good to see you've included the better side of The Buckinghams Northern classic!
  5. Sorry to bring this old thread up again but just been looking up some Preview 45's and sorting the wheat from the chaff (mostly chaff lol). There was an artist called Dan Monday on some, could be Keith under a pseudonym or is it the 'Baby Without You' guy? Here's a photo of Rodd Keith (back left) with Leon Haywood, not sure who the black lady next to Keith is? I know Charlotte O'Hara is the lady with the flower in her hair, she recorded on Preview as 'Bonnie Graham' who has a Northern sound on Preview 1403 'Come On Strong'.
  6. What's the RCA one from 1983/4 worth then Dave?
  7. Charles Lamont!! Good call. Jimmy Beaumont in my box.
  8. Don't forget the storming flip 'What'cha Gonna Do'!!!
  9. Have all these in the collection except the Mike Cotton Sound. Good choices!
  10. Sure is!...and then there's this, very similar riff throughout and 'Trouble' in the title too...
  11. Yeah, probably that Steve.
  12. "Just leave enough for me to see just how far away you are from me, just leave enough for me to see the way you turned away from me. Oh, but I can still remember I was there when you needed me but now you may regret the awful way that you treated me you know you can't forget that there was no one but me for you when for....one wonderful moment you were mine. Don't go with him, you must give in, the feelings tearing you apart, don't worry then(???) it's such a sin to hide this feeling in your heart...." That's basically it.
  13. I think you are getting your wires crossed, Adidas Soul Boy WAS in a band named The Shakers, but Not the USA group on ABC.
  14. The trio were at it again in 1967....
  15. They also had several 45's on ABC too, some around the same period... https://www.45cat.com/artist/cashman-pistilli-and-west
