Obviously sounds a bit dodgy...geezer knew what he was doing of when he ordered a second copy! Keep one for himself and sell/trade the other to a mate or someone he knows is after it no doubt! Reckon whatever the tune is, he knew he was getting a bargain! especially 2 for 1!!!!! FIND THAT OTHER PROOF OF POSTAGE!!! Hope all goes well for you.

Johnny wyatt - This Thing Called love - Bronco......does it everytime without fail, 100% guaranteed! Played this when it was a cheapie at Ely, packed the floor out and then went on to become THE track to have shortly after! Suppose fever for it has died down since, but it's still the one I pull out of my magic hat when things are going arse over tit.

Rocky Roberts did a couple more in the same vein...'Stasterra Mi Butto' is a furious uptempo stormer!! pity only my mum can understand it! It's on the flip of 'Just Because Of You'. another of his is 'Dove De Credi'...again, uptempo Northern. In 25 years of collecting I don't know of any other foreign language Northern Soul except for those Motown ones you've already mentioned. There must be some, in particular original tunes other than just re-makes of popular songs.......anyone else?

Yeah I got a 'Lively Ones'...great little oddity, I love these garage groups! Flip is also quite good, I know its something about 'bugaloo' or whatever, not bad at all. here's a couple more garage bands with northern appeal... Went to Skegness All-Dayer yesterday (20th May)...had 4 to choose from the East Anglia/Lincs area (we're smack in the middle in King's Lynn)...Norwich, Cambridge, Kettering.....Skeggy was quite full, due to a forthcoming night here (15th July) the Lynn crowd split up to do some 'flying', some went to Norwich, we opted for Skeggy so we could dish some flyers out there

Soul Set - I Don't want Her But I Need Her - Johnson is good.....but the flip 'With My Baby Behind Me' sounds like a great west coast rarity and it's a complete unknown! can be found for £10.

If you accept paypal all you need do is get his e-mail address and vice-versa and get him to send you payment through his paypal account. Doesn't have to be an ebay purchase to pay through paypal, it can be for anything. Had the same problem and this is how I got it sorted. Sorry, didnt realise you cant contact him...doh!

There is a boot going around...white demo. Seen it on ebay a few times from some guy in the States, realised they were snyde when another guy had one (German I think?) and he was honest enough to say they're pressings. V-Tone is a very early label, there's loadsa stuff on it from the late 50's early 60's by run of the mill artists.

It's a great dancer, i've just got one in a trade...seen it for anything between £30 - 70. It's actually listed at around £50, it's definitely his best 45! The flip is a great ballad. I reckon it's around 1968(ish). Great horns and beat.

thats the guy! Think there's one on there at the moment for around $190. I saw one also from him @ buy it now and offered him lower, he came back with $130 so am thinking about it. It looks kosher on the scan.... Need to know the score, like the record but don't want a boot!

What makes you ask? I've just been offered one for $130 (£70ish)....have i been offered a moody copy then? Let me know why you ask this question..... £250 in the price guides.

'Spellbound' is by the 'Poppies' and came out originally on their album only, it did come out on the flip of the boot single of 'Pain In My Heart' (the one with their faces on the label). I must admit though, your acetate is a slightly different cut. Can only presume the flip is by them as well...I have the album and this track is not on it.
