That is a late 70's early 1980's RCA Motown sleeve NOT an EMI 1960's sleeve. I have the Frank Wilson from that period in an orange RCA sleeve like the one you have, you only have to look at the albums on the back to know it's from the late 70's early 80's. That is the correct sleeve for that RCA distributed 45. -
I am way out of date here, I don't even know if this is any help but I got an Art Wheeler 45 that has 'blue eyed soul' written on the sleeve.

Am I right in thinking that these are actually bootlegs as this was never officially released as a 45 on Mirwood? They are quite hard to find though.

Was this played, Gerry? I like this original version but I never had it down as a Northern dancer but listening to it again, yeah I can see it in amongst all the other 'pop' tunes played n the scene.

I know this isn't much help and you probs already know but it was re-issued on a Decca 45 from 'Circles: Mod Box Set' (I bought one myself). https://www.discogs.com/Various-Circles-The-Mod-45s-Box/release/4899055 Great record!
