  1. Kent of all the people got their sleeve notes on Kenny so wrong! From 'Northern Soul's Classiest Rarities' .....
  2. Decca UK (or any), doesn't have to be mint. Paypal f&f of course. Thanks John
  3. Well that's what I thought but my mate Mick thinks it is
  4. Yes I think that is the one he is on about, there is a row of houses on the cover. Someone in an earlier post said it's 'West Grand Bld'. In my collection.
  5. Yes and hair! I been in contact with him recently.
  6. Had a discussion today with my mate Mick and he is saying one of the rarest LP's to have on Motown has a photo of the 'Motown House' (his words) on the cover, I'm presuming the Hitsville USA house? Anyway I cannot find a Motown (UK or otherwise) LP with this sort of cover??? Is there one in existence?
  7. Apologies if this has been mentioned on here but 19 pages and I couldn't see it. 'I Wanna Know' is a great Northern dancer. Japanese only 45?
  8. The Phil Coulter tune is very similar to Sounds Orchestral 'Cast Your Fate To The Wind'... Was Sounds Orchestral ever played in the early days? I know their 'Have Faith In Your Love' was.
  9. Teardrops - Every Step I Take (Max). Touring with Martha & Vandellas 1967. Photo courtesy of David Paugh, lead guitarist with the Teardrops.

  11. Yeah, great that! Earl Wilson...
  12. 60's Football superstar 'Lance Rentzel' (Dallas Cowboys) cut a Northern double sider. He also dated/married Joey Heatherton but got divorced when he exposed himself to some under-age girls....tut tut.
  13. I better buy that one then! Discogs has picture sleeve too!
  14. Well, that's a new one on me! Of course I love Rufus' better but I'd wonder if Anka did an English version? Thanks for posting!
  15. Also released on MGM by Bruce Scott...
  16. 'Meanwhile Back In Real Life' from the LP is a great blue eyed Northern dancer, love it!
  17. Just bought one. Thanks for the tip.
  18. That is a late 70's early 1980's RCA Motown sleeve NOT an EMI 1960's sleeve. I have the Frank Wilson from that period in an orange RCA sleeve like the one you have, you only have to look at the albums on the back to know it's from the late 70's early 80's. That is the correct sleeve for that RCA distributed 45.
  19. I am way out of date here, I don't even know if this is any help but I got an Art Wheeler 45 that has 'blue eyed soul' written on the sleeve.
  20. Am I right in thinking that these are actually bootlegs as this was never officially released as a 45 on Mirwood? They are quite hard to find though.
  21. Yes, the look-alike yellow boot is a good counterfeit, here's one....
  22. I've never seen one with that line block around the label name, is that someone's handy work?
