  1. So shit at names and remembering the faces that go with them, everybody at weekend was telling me i knew you, well if was not for the pic that Dave T put up on here then i would still had said i never knew you..........how wrong i would have been. Lots of crazy memories come flooding in to my mind, the best being when my head gasket blew turning into car park at princess suite stoke early 80's, yourself, Pete Lawson, Ant, Blondie, and Hodge descended on my Mk3 escort and proceeded to "do a job to get ya home in the morning" .....it did. God bless ya, stay strong Anne, Daz.
  2. Quality reply Pete and got what it deserved me thinks..........gotta ask though. Daz.
  3. Hmmm all very confusing is this, i always assumed Impal (credited to Masters Of Soul) was first issue local release, Yellow SS7's (credited to Soul Masters) was a pucker (original) national release and that the multi coloured SS7 (Credited only to Ann Sexton) was just an out and out boot leg made to look like the current label design of the SS7 label of the day If what your sayin is correct ( all original ) with todays OVO policy firmly in place, would it be fonzy cool to play it out on the multi coloured release?? Daz.

  9. Off to see my bank manager............my opening sell will be " do the research mate, as with most investments your final resale value may go down as well as up....unless it's a minty Eddie Parker, in this case it will only ever increase in it's market value" ....FACT!! Daz.
  10. As like most others I would say it was one of many tunes that opened the door to many other much more accepted tunes so it can never be said its utter shit but along side other door openers like chuck wood, showstopper s, Judy street it really can't live with them. As a side issue I heard and have always believed that al is in fact chuck wood!! Whether it be snake al or help me al not too sure. Someone will no doubt know on here though.
  11. This is just a "b" side is a later sassy release the first release has " love your pain grows deeper" as the flip to ITWYW

  21. In "tree colouers" be careful before you buy!! Spelling like that there got to be a catch
  22. Does that mean I just kinda stand still then?? As my back was never turned in the first place by the "mighty beat Ballard" IMHO yes they have a place at the end of a spot or the end of a night if they have to be played out ever at a venue, failing that they are fantastic for doing the ironing to or driving back from a venue, other than that they are not for me as I still believe the northern scene is,was, and always will be a dance scene first!! Just an opinion though Daz
  23. It's a feckin' awesome tune, has the lot inside those grooves, dance beat, hook line to can hum along to, cheesy bitd memories, and dare i say but it's NOT played too often these day's for someone to play it out loud and proud?? daz.
  24. Hmmm not sure about that Ian (the price) got a mint+++ demo last year for £400 but been offered on 3 occasions different people not far short of other posters guesstimate, so who knows. Daz.
