  • A brief intro...
Loved Northern since being introduced to it at scooter club dos. Recently got back into DJing at Northern Soul events across the Norrth East after a break of 25 years. Loving it.

  1. Our Christmas event and the next in the ever popular Northern Soul Events at Ashington Comrades Club. The action kicks off at 6.30 with our regular resident DJs, Brian Dodds, Chris Marklew, Craig Bell, Gary Bell and Ian Fenwick bringing their regular excellent mix of Northern Classics and rarer cuts. This month's guest is Ethan McDermott, who always delivers a cracking set wherever he plays. Throw in a huge wooden dancefloor, great sound system, cheap bar prices and that fantastic atmosphere we are famous for then you have all the ingredients for what promises to be a fantastic night. All for the bargain price of £5 on the door.
  2. Either depending on price and condition.
  3. Hi looking for a VG or above copy to The Tymes - Here She Comes if anyone has one for sale. Thanks.
  4. Sadly most of the places I play don't have facilities to play CDs as they are vinyl only set ups otherwise I'd be happy to play it in that format.
  5. Does anyone know of a vinyl release of Martha Reeves & The Vandellas - It's Easy To Fall In Love (With A Guy Like You) please? I can only find it on CD via Gold and Hitch OST. If anyone can point me in the direction of where to find it on vinyl so I can play it out while DJing be most appreciated.
  6. Can anyone please confirm is the mix of Alfie Davison Love Is A Serious Business on Minerva (OSC165) different to the original mix? My ears don't hear it the same as the original but I cannot find any reference to it ever having been re-recorded. If there is a difference does anyone know if the version on Boot Records with Sam Davis' You Can Count On Me on the other side is the same mix as this one or if it is the original version.
  7. Looking for a decent copy of this single. Any currently for sale?
