The Lewes Northern Soul Club are holding their first charity gathering "on the road" when raising funds at The Brighthelm Centre, North Road, BRIGHTON BN1 1YD on Sat. 5th April 2025. There will be leading DJ's from around the country spinning some brilliant Northern Soul vinyl tracks to inspire dancing and a wonderful atmosphere while raising money for both Cascade Creative Recovery & Meninadanca "Bringing Hope Through Dancing" charities. Collectable patches will be given to the first 100 people through the door! This is to mark the First Anniversary of Lewes Northern Soul Club gathering and not one to be missed! Being held in conjunction with Lewes Barbican Rotary Club, all proceeds are being donated to the three Lewes Food Banks. A selection of some of the finest DJ’s will be playing your favourite vinyl tracks from the Northern Soul scene. You can even bring along your own vinyl and the DJ’s will try and give them a spin!! Doors open at 5.00 pm and the dancing will start as soon as possible, going on through to around 11.00 pm, with a brief charity raffle being held with plenty of nostalgic prizes to be won! A brand new souvenir patch [picturing a flaming heart] will be available free of charge for the first 100 through the door.
