hardly off topic, but anyway, bottom line is, bootlegging of currant releases did go on in the states in the 50's and 60's, getting records pressed back then was very cheap, its still relativley cheap nowdays, theres a pressing plant that advertises on here that will do you 200 45's for 500 quid

it wouldn't have been booted retrospectivly for the northern scene, it would have been booted at time of release, as were a lot of records in the u.s. a lot of beatles on capitol are boots, if you were a distributor / or owner of a couple of record shops why buy stock in when you can press them up yourself and keep all the profit, i think the general concensus of opinion regarding this ric tic release when last discussed on here was that it was a bootleg originating from the pitsburgh area
