    just hold it up to the light, if you can see through it, its a boot, also boots have really glossy labels whereas the original label is matt

    no, on the original 45 it starts with piano intro then drum roll then the vocal kicks in, on the sevens reissue you get the back end of the drum roll then vocal, somebody pressed the record button too late

    the non piano version is on the goldmine sevens reissue, a mastering cock up not a different version / take

    correct, thin flimsy brown vinyl that you could see through if you held it to the light and really shiny label the boots from the 90's had a date stamp, the shiny label was a dead givaway too

    brown vinyl boot first reared its head in the mid 90's, a few people got there fingers burnt at the time
