  1. Wonderful. Thanks
  2. Looked to be having the time of his life with Elton John at Glastonbury last night singing Are You Ready For Love Gabriels are superb
  3. Just read through this discussion What a great thread and well done everyone for so much interesting insight and opinion
  4. Awful crime Here's hoping the culprits get caught ASAP
  5. RIP Chuck - all time great
  6. They sound amazing - thanks souljourns
  7. Loakey dokey
  8. That's a bargain. Shame I'm a size nine
  9. All great points I try to glide and, weirdly, depending on the floor don't have too much difficultly in trainers, that said leather soles are best. No question. Second hand is the way to go and, as you say, make them last
  10. Thanks Twoshoes. I originally tried the search function before posting but nothing came up. Thanks for highlighting those other threads below - off to investigate Thanks for those three tips too I'm more attracted to non leather being a Plant Based person but a second hand pair of leather soles feels okay in my inconsistent world view Ha ha - good point
  11. That's the key to getting a good glide - less resistance
  12. Thanks Soulmark Not cheap are they? But sure they are worth it. According to their website... No gentleman’s wardrobe is complete without a pair of handcrafted Goodyear welted brogues. With punched holes (originally designed to allow water to drain from the shoe), choose from a wide selection of Leather or Rubber-soled options in Oxford or Derby constructions, in a vast array of colours and styles.
  13. Very nice - look like they've seem some action and must be well broken in so v comfy
  14. Thanks for the welcome. No, absolutely no involvement. I just did an online search for best dancing trainers and that was one of the first returns. I was hoping any trainer wearers might feel inspired to chip into the discussion. Thanks again
