Searching for copies of BLACK WAX MAGAZINE (fanzine) issues 1-6 published in 1973 by Northern Soul specialist retailer and magazine contributer Roy Stanton. From the early 1970's, in partnership with Hilary Cummings, they operated a mail order business specialising in Northern Soul recordings. Some years later they opened a Northern Soul vinyl record shop opposite The Manor Tavern called BLACK WAX RECORDS at 12 Mitcham Lane, Streatham, London. The shop closed in 1976. I am researching BLACK WAX MAGAZINE, the retail premises BLACK WAX RECORDS and ROY STANTON (he migrated to Hong Kong in late 1985 and was still residing there 20 years later). Any photos of the shop or memories of Roy Stanton would be appreciated. Thanks.
