I have actually heard this version but know for a fact it was off a CD. As far as I'm aware there have been several versions of this record over the years the ones I'm aware of other than the Jeannie Dee are - Nella Dodds (1964), Jr. Walker & the All Stars (1968), Baby Washington (1980)

Malc I also deejayed at the social reform so will have probably met you that night. John Bradshaw went into some form of banking I think down in london still returns to Grimsby occasionally but not to Northern dos. Its Gary Hutson and he has a joinery business occasionally attends the odd do. anyway all the best.

For anyone interested just recieced this from the BBC - Dear Keith, There is a new Radio 2 evening schedule beginning on Monday 16th April which means the new series of All Singing, All Dancing, All Night is now going out on Tuesday 12th June at 23.30. Sean Apparently there is an ever growing list at the winter Gardens for any returned tickets. I would suggest there is a bigger chance of raising the Titanic. Most of the B&Bs are also fully booked. I will keep my ears open for you.
