STILL LOADS OF BARGAINS TO BE HAD HERE
-
I always liked it but it's not worth any more than £300 tops surely
-
I would say £75 - £100 too..
I'm sitting here racking my brains, and can't remember, as to whether I've seen an issue of this album ?? Sure I must have ??
Pretty certain mine's a DJ copy too, but don't know which box it's in to immediately check. I know it's in a box on my record room floor - bound to be in sight of me - but as there are over 2000 lp's in boxes, also on the record room floor, it's a very hit & miss operation at present in trying to locate an individual item !!
Howdy John
Deffo issued I've had a few and sold them on in the early 9ts just kept one for myself.......

not only a great tune but a good price imho
took me ages and a couple of demos before getting my issue
somebody should snap it up

I'm not 100% certain as it has been a loooong time since I played 'Look away', but the version on the Kent LPs is different (and better) to the Scepter 45...or am I thinking of the Chiffons' 'Keep the boy happy'...or maybe both of them are like that!?!
No buddy you're spot on. The mix is different on the Kent LP compared with my 45 and much better.

Thanks Sian you're a star
And don't worry I'm after a nice tune to replace it

I've seen about 5 in the last 18 months all been over £200 except mine which was a whole lot less but I still reckon its not that easy to find at the right price in decent condition. Compared to loads of so called rare records.

Nev, as far as I'm aware the rarest one is the one with aware of love on the flip which I think was the last release. My copy looks like your 1st scan with AOL on the flip.
cheers
I've Seen The Future! - Laser Turntables
in Look At Your Box
Posted
I heard them at Hi Fi shows quite a few times. Yep the vinyl had to be really clean no old scratchy 45s.
From my memory the sound wasn't that good but then I still like single ended triode amps, tube phono stages, moving coil transformers and horn loudspeakers. Still only play cd's in the car.
Another big problem was there was very little "hands on" for turntable nerds to play with. We all like spending hours tweeking and there isn't a lot to do with a laser.
