Am i right in thinking that this is unissued and only released on Kent? I only heard it for for the first time the other day and it blew me away! I dont think i've ever heard it played out either....Obviously not as good as Tobi Lark but still a quality soul dancer. Would the soul police beat me if i played it out lol?

Think Micheal J had a hamp jone for sale on Modculture mate. El Anthony is a great tune, I only heard it a few months back and had to get one - a proper soul record. I was out chatting to Joan at Wilton on friday and she pointed out that there's a track by tomorrow's men on congress that's got exactley the same backing as El Anthony. Check it out in Refosoul p.s - someone on here had a El Anthony for sale not long back, it might be worth having a look through the sales pages! Looking forward to catching up in Italy mate Callum

Which is exactley what I do Mossy almost every weekend I'm out supporting either nighters, mod nights, soul nights etc. I collect what i like and enjoy a good old party. I dont get involved with the politics and try to get on with everyone. The point i was trying to make was it can be a litte dissapointing when you've travelled a 300 round trip to a nighter/soul night and there's only 60-70 people there due to a another event being on within a 50 miles radius etc. Totally agree about thanking a promoter/promoter thanking the dj -it's just good manners Callum
-
Without trying to be funny but why would you let something like this nag you ! Life's to short to let petty stuff like this eat away at you. From reading the thread you seem like you have good bookings such as the Brighton Mod Weekender. Enjoy it my friend no need to worry about other peoples are doing! The only problem i have with people who are desperate to dj is that if they dont get asked you'll more than likely see another soul venue appear which will ultimately affect what is a fairly small scene anyhow as there's not a weekend goes by without something clashing! p.s - Me being the polite young man i am i would always thank the promoter for inviting me to play my records.... i see it as a mutal repsect thing Simon - did you thank rob for asking you to play at Brighton? Callum

Played this at storiming soul and it went down a treat. A great dancer that you just dont hear enough! good luck -
Seen her in April earlier this year at coco's and she absolutely blew me away. I'm not usually a fan of live acts but these guys really put on a performance, the band is so tight and her voice is oh so good! a modern day soul sister for sure!

Hi Folks, Up for grabs a great Rnb dancer, thats become quite tough to get your hands on Ray Agee - The Wobble OO - Tridelt - VG+ - 55 pounds (A great RnB belter with a great opening record for any Rnb set, when it kicks in watch the dancefloor erupt, awesome sax break ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r473GtA5fl8 Many Thanks Callum

I wasn't around back in the day, so I can only really comment on dj's who do the buisness everytime without fail which in all honesty there's not many! Karl Heard -has the ability to bring the floor to life like no other dj, has been at the top of the pile since i first seen him around 2/3 years ago Mik Parry Mace always pushing boundaries and can mix it up with various different styles: uptempo, mid-tempo, Rnb, boogaloo, funk, jazz etc. They're Proper dj's, if you put them in a club they'll get the place rocking where as a lot of northern dj's/collectors would fall flat on thier arse and probably get booed off the premises

Hi folks, up for grabs an uptempo mod dancer thats been getting spins in Rnb rooms up and down the country! The Rollers - Troubles - Belstar VG/VG+ 150 pounds + P&P Pm if interested Many Thanks Callum

Hello Ken, I hope your well mate. This tune is quality it's a Steve Hiscock (abbeyrnb) and Bob Morris spin, I'm pretty sure that Steve sold Bob his copy for around £50 a few radcliffe's ago, so taking that into account with yours being a demo it must be worth a few quid extra. It seems to be quite a hard tune to find, I've been looking since i first heard it! Hope this helps mate Callum
