  1. It's not the first time John has had one of these, although it may well be the same copy coming round again.
  2. This is the one I had for a dozen or more years, sold it a couple of years back, maybe three. I offered it for sale on here at the time, but no one seemed interested. Cheers Mick
  3. Just tried it in all my browsers, IE / FF / Opera / Safari / Chrome - logged in or not logged in - no difference. Even tried the exact item (Bobby Treetop) - still not there. Could be random IP's at the moment, as it is still a new feature - might come through to everyone eventually. Weird
  4. Thanks Kev, Here's a screen shot from your doc OK, the first thing I see is that you are watching it yourself, maybe that's the way. I think a few of us were thinking you could see watchers on any item, (like collectors frenzy), not just items you have set up to watch yourself. Still useful to see this though Cheers Mick
  5. Aside from the discrepency in the value of this particular record, if I was offered $25 for a record that was listed (and, importantly, actually valued) at $100, I would also say "No thanks, try buying a reissue". That would be me not trying to be cocky, but trying to be helpful. I have often pointed people to places other than my own site if I feel they could get a lesser value copy of the same thing and it is clear the buyer isn't interested in Originals, just the record. I even got a "thank you" once when I had a slow intro take of Frankie & Classicals, priced accordingly, and my "customer" was asking why it was so expensive. I could have BS'd and got the sale, but I felt he wasn't even aware, let alone interested in this variation, just wanted the record on whatever label, so suggeted eBay / Gemm. He came back a few days later and thanked me, as he had found a Pye reissue for a few pounds, and was happy as Larry. On the other hand, I don't sell too many records these days. Cheers Mick
  6. But WHERE Dave? Top / bottom / next to .. etc. Could you do a screen shot of a "typical" item, showing this. Cheers Mick
  7. Never thought of that Mick - I've just checked, but no, still not showing. I wonder if it's a browser thing? I'm using firefox
  8. I've just had a look at a couple on eBay.com and can't see the watchers (I can see the number of page views, but that's always been there) I'm logged in too and still can't find it - Where on the page should I be looking? Cheers Mick
  9. I asked Neil Rushton a year or so back about that - when he got the stock from Billy Jackson, there were "lots" of demos amongst them. Clearly the Issues were the majority, but out of the 1000+ he had there may have been more than a few. He did say it was about xyz% demos (both B sides) but I can't remember how many he estimated. I've got a feeling it was about 30% demos, but I may be wrong. I was hoping to see him tonight, but won't see him until next week, so I'll see if he remembers (if I remember to ask, that is !!) Cheers Mick
  10. Frank Beverly - Sassy - 1000+ copies at £200-250 each. Epitome Of Sound - (Cream & Red) - 500+++ copies, at about £100-£150 each. .. and of course Royal Esquires - Quantity? - As many as you want by the look of it - still going for £40-£60 a pop Cheers Mick
  11. It's to do with ebay.com CHANGING the records catagory number from 306, to 176985, as someone pointed out on the other thread. I've just updated Turbo Lister and the old catagory 306 is now obsolete. Hope this helps Cheers Mick
  12. I still use these ... ... about 50p
  13. Here's a scan of one, never had it myself though, just the US Chess. Cheers Mick
  14. Do you mean Thelma Hopkins of Dawn ? Killer version of which, Bari Track or Exus Trek ?
  15. Just saw the trailer too - Never seen the show, but I thought it was set in the late fifties, or very early sixties. I must be wrong
  16. Alas, no - and I haven't a clue what happened to her (it was 25 years ago). As to the record, I've trawled tinterweb and I can't find any reference to any other versions apart from the four above mentioned versions .... unless you count this one by Sid Saint John !! Is he singing over the Wigans Ovation backing that was knocking about in the 70's ?? Cheers Mick
  17. Ther was a UK band who did a version around that time. I think they were from the West Midlands, possibly Walsall. I was seeing a girl who knew one of the group but I couldn't tell you who the group were. I never heard the version, but I understand It was not a Soul / Northern record in any stretch of the imagination. Other than that, the only other version apart from the Invitations, Wigans Ovation and Laura Pallas would be the Beach Girls. Cheers Mick
  18. I remember as the time he was thinking of doing "Sammy Davis Jr - You Can Count On Me" - This was towards the end of the SOS label, before the next label took over. It could be that SDJ was to be SOS 009, but that is only a guess. Update .. As soon as I posted this I suddenly remembered .. SOS009 was a 12" 4 track Bill Harris - Am I Hot / Lew Kirton - Heaven In The Afternoon Curtis - How Can I Tell Her / Voices Of East Harlem - Cahing In Cheers Mick
  19. Thought there was a reissue of it golmine/goldsoul/soulsummat from 5 of more years ago - Might be wrong though, or might be mixing it up with something else
  20. Maybe not as much as I thought - could be that it was just appeared to be elusive at the time I was looking at one 5 years back. As I said, I never bothered to look for it after that, so It could be there are a few more around than I thought.
  21. The AVI 12" with the Instrumental is the B side to a Vocal - the vocal is a remix or re-recording, but the Instrumental is the 60's backing. It has always been tough to get - About five years ago I saw a copy on Gemm for about $60 - I kept checking on it for over a year, but never bought it - It eventually sold, and I've never bothered to look for it since. Cheers Mick
  22. It was issued in the 80's or very early 90's on an AVI 12 inch Cheers Mick
  23. These are the two releases ... S-1002-A ... Love (Your Pain Goes Deep) S-1002-B ... If That's What You Wanted S-1002-A-2 ... If That's What You Wanted S-1002-B-2 ... This Is Just A "B" Side *(can't be absolutely clear on B-2 as scan is so bad) I don't know for sure, but I would think "Love Your Pain" came first (An assumption based entirely on the List Numbers) Scans of the two different B White Demo B sides Apologies for the "TIJABS" scan - only image I could find Cheers Mick
  24. Yes, all 4 Sassy variations are out there. Cheers Mick
  25. It's still there from the eBay listing ... https://www.ebay.com/...cvip=true&rt=nc Cheers Mick
