  1. Another fantastic line-up of Guest DJ's for Kent Soul Clubs 4th event of 2022. 29th October 2022 Jordan Wilson Avril Kesteven John Marsh Jordan Wilson - Possibly the best young DJ in the UK, if not throughout the whole Northern Soul scene. Jordan has gained his reputation by bringing new life into forgotten tracks and plays a selection of unreleased Northern & Motown demos and acetates. This is the future of Northern Soul. Returning to KSC since 2019, its been a long time, but a worthwhile wait. Avril Kesteven – Former resident DJ at Bassetlaw Avril set up Kesteven Soul Club in 2016 and now regularly DJ’n all over the UK and Europe playing Classic & Underplayed Northern & R&B, a welcome return to KSC since 2019. John Marsh – Jon's not been DJ'n long, however his pedigree on the Northern Soul scene is very long. ‘As seen on TV’ Jon’s danced on BBC 2 and over the UK since at 13 seeing some guys dancing to Northern and Motown and now he turns his hands to being behind the decks since seriously collecting for the last 5 years. Jon’s a regular at KSC out on the floor, welcome to the decks Jon. Plus myself and the 'Early Bird' set with Julia.. Parking Information Parking can be at Rochester Train station (Rochester Railway Station, Corporation St, Rochester ME1 1NH, UK) and in the middle of Rochester high street (Blue Boar Ln, Rochester ME1 1PD, UK), both are less than 5 min walk. Hotel Information There are many hotels in the area from as little as £45 for a double room

Two returning DJ's and 1 New to KSC. First up is Mark Anderson, Mark has played KSC many times and is always welcomed back by all who know his set. Next up is David Smyth who last played KSC in 2017. Dave has been having DJ spots all over the UK. welcome back Dave. Finally new to KSC is James Hill, DJ'n since 1992 all over the UK and running his own club Northern Noise in Essex. looking forward to this set. 3. Kent Soul Club first event of 2021 Event - 3 Top Guest DJ's 7th August Doors open 7:30 to 01:00 - £5 OTD Royal function Rooms, Rochester, Kent.. This is our first event of 2021 and what a cracking line up of DJ's we have for our first event. 2 top drawer new DJ's to Kent Soul Club and making a return is the brilliant Paul Salvatore. First up is the fantastic Stef Jones who is a born again collector of rare soul. He’s DJ’d at Teddington, Folkestone and House of Bamboo, appears regularly on the Forgotten Soul Show and has a weekly podcast; the Shockingly Shoddy Soul Show, Steph was live streaming all during the pandemic. Listening to his sets this will be a cracker.. Next up is local Medway based DJ Paul Vine, who runs his own local night called Boogaloo Revue in Chatham Kent. Paul normally likes to play Soul records with a funky and R&B edge to them, but also has a fantastic collection of straight-up Northern & Rare Soul 45’s, so expect to hear more from this side of his collection, but maybe with a bit of added funk edged spice here and there. Next is a KSC favorite Paul Salvatore DJ'n for over 20 years all over Europe including Rimini, Paris, Tenerife & Resident at Exeter / Farnborough Soul clubs playing his eclectic mix of sublime soul. We welcome back Paul to KSC. We have been asked to significantly reduce the amount of talc at our events. We have at the Royal Function Room's a fantastic wooden dance floor that needs no talc, so please can you be talc floor friendly and reduce the talc to a minimum. Thank you very much..
