  1. French Picture sleeve selling as just got Columbia copy so this is now spare. Picture sleeve in good condition no tears or seam splits plus internal tag still in place. Vinyl VG++ due to paper scuffs sound file on request or I will try to post one up as soon as I can. pm if interested cheers Mark.

  3. Excellent post. He noticed some slight warping! No Sh+t steam at 100 degrees. Whoda thought it. Would have been funnier if he had taken it from VPi to decks and done some old school scratching though.

  5. They have had to as they are covered under the consumer credit act for some of the transactions and by the regulator and watchdog for financial services and banking for others. Good result though Pete. mark.

Hi Des, I am only a novice, as many will know, but would think that it infers no rights to the song itself only the medium on which it is cut.In other words the acetate is yours to buy and sell but not reproduce without permission. Intellectual property laws, mean that the writer always owns the song unless they sold the rights to a third party (possibly a recording studio or publisher or record label). Even in many of those cases there can be a cut off period where it reverts to the original writer. The Presley estate was an example where the songs had a finite period of sole use and reprodcution by the Presley estate only or by contract to them I believe. I am no expert but did do a little digging on it last year. I am positive there are many more enlighted than me that will correct any misconceptions I may have on the matter. Mark.
  10. There is an artist by that name that is an elvisalike singer - used to sing his own stuff I believe but also covered elvis, jumpsuit an all.

  13. Not a waste of time though. I remembers those days and the cracking niters on the rallys. Many people who I speak to today don't seem to believe that it could have ever been so! Still there loss in many ways as almost twenty years on form that article I still enjoy both.   17. Saw Smokin Joe last year in November just before the 1st anniversary do we held at the venue. Apparently he comes and stays there when he is attending boxing galas in the area. small world really.
