  5. Wow first one surprised me as been playing it uncovered for last few years. Was talking to a mate about it last Wednesday as he was looking for a copy for his mod/ garage sets. great record.
  6. Tough to find slice of funky crossover soul. Big record for Mr Fish and Greg Belson amongst others and has a real cult following. Looks VG+ plays way better. Has slight warp to edge does not affect play ( see photo its a lift more than a warp and is fixable) There is one slight fingernail mark that cannot be felt and does not affect sound. Hear for yourself. £375 plus actual postage costs. Bank transfer preferred but can discuss other means of accepting payment. Let me know if you have any questions or need any more info. thanks Mark. 8. Was apparently released for the beach shag scene. There re are some threads on here about it from a few years back as many of them were mislabelled. Also shown on JMs site/ books at £500 at the time. Mark
  9. Great prices as per usual Des. Seen this at 4x price listed on here today! North By Northeast - Pain Of City Living - Probe £5 Detroit Northern with a Funky edge!!
  10. Can possibly help out, have a sealed 12 of this as a spare. Pm me your best offer and let's see if we can sort something out. Mark
  11. Brilliant record but having read the whole thread my question would be why is no one asking about the fact that two mint unplayed looking copies appear to have surfaced so close together? Original post and Sharmo's Amsterdam copy - unless they are one and the same... Does that support a box find or a new press?
  12. What a lucky seller, two copies in 6 months! I wonder if they have more copies or whether it is just bizzarre coincidence. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Northern-Soul-7-45-MEGA-RARE-Cuppy-Records-De-Lites-Lover-Tell-Me-Why-/200839382396

  15. I know John, any one with any sense will know that the ball will roll and they will all fall off! Agreed Pete, will step well away from it now.
  16. Interesting other items, especially the inflatable ball with US large hole single holder!
  17. Sorry can't resist any longer. Beat route was a club in london in the early 80's if I remeber, ton of dynamite is in gloucester, in order to be positive what about Wildsoul - nod to the more frenetic and less produced garage soul, which is also a favourite of mine. Cheers Mark.
  18. Not that I know of, if they continue to state this ask for the evidence of this or ask paypal/ebay directly for it. They will not want sellers making up stuff about what they are supposed to have said.
  19. Glad people like the track, as Des says Millie is still singing although it is back to her roots of delta blues these days. There is a fantastic link back into the soul scence and the funk scene and if I get time I will dig out all the emails and letters and piece it together in a coherent story, along with the publicity shots she kindly sent over for me. Great lady and a real under the radar performer. Des is also correct in the number of records that were given out at the souls night locally to me, knowing the attendees as I do, most of them are probably languising in cupboards hidden away for eternity. Mark.
  20. Who said there were no entrepeneurs left! Could be the start of a whole new bartering system.
