  8. Hi Guys, Need a little help here with a Dynamics track, "You'll never find a man like me" Have to play it 2 or 3 times a day from a comp CD I got at the Uptight Soul weekend in Frankfurt. a few years ago. I've been through Manship's book, it's not in there so it must be an album track, I think. Any info or even better if some kind soul will sell me a copy! Cheers, Johnny. P.s. Atze, my friend you have great taste, see you soon at Essence maybe?
  9. Great record, First heard it played by Bob Jones on his Saturday afternoon show on the old Solar Radio back in the pirate days certainly 82-83. I had a tape of that show for ages, then lost the bloody thing when I moved out of me mum's. Bought it when it was a "Front page focus" on Soulbowl's list, think it cost £10. B side is a goodie as well "Hot on a Thang" which is a cover of a Chi Lites album track, can't remember which one tho' but it's got "Try my side of love" on it. Wonder if me mum know's where that tape is? John. See you in Dublin for Sleepless nights, John.

  15. Shirley Brown is an excellent track which I've put a few people onto lately, I'd also like to add these two album tracks, both on the purple/white Stax imprint. Soul Children "Who You Used To Be" Heard this out a few times Staples Singers "Trippin On Your Love" went massive in the early 90's down south, did it have the same impact elsewhere?
