Hello Harpo mate......not seen you for a while.....hope you're well? Only just seen this thread........would love her to get the joy out of music and it's associated social that I have (and continue to have).........doesn't need to be soul music, just a love of music..............BUT.......what really made me smile was the thought of my avatar (look left) which I've had for a while, which is the cover that my daughter made for a small CD compilation which she picked the tracks out for. Hi Pete...........this sounds like it could be one of a series boafide look-a-likey 12's of PIR stuff that Expansion released at the turn of the millenium......haven't got that one, so can't be sure....I'm just thinking barcode and different artists each side etc. I do have this and would say about £15-20 tops..........for instance, I know it's currently for sale elsewhere at £18...........former lead with the Fantastic Four I believe. This is great stuff.....thanks for posting......this night is slightly before my time all nighter wise, and never made in to Clifton Hall though it was still going when I started going to all nighters. Don't want to detract from the thread, so if someone wants to move this then fine, but on a subject I've touched on before and just find fascinating.................if the NS traditionalists at the time accepted the 70's/80's stuff then (and I know that not not all did), why do those same people shun soulful dance now? What was/is the difference? Surely the sound of these records back then was as far removed from the traditional sound as the step to "soulful dance" is now. What's the difference between Allan Harris and The Muthafunkaz soul content wise? If it was "ahead of its time".....that's a compliment isn't it?......but to some who found this a great thing back then, soulful dance (and I MEAN soulful) is like the anti-christ!! I find this absolutely fascinating............sorry if that's anoraky!!! Hope I've made that clear! Cheers, Mark R

Last one on there fetched £961 I think, so somebody wants it!! I always find these things intriguing....the "whys?" I mean............not always easy to work it out is it? For me the key with this item is that it's quite simply one of the best modern soul records ever (IMHO).....lots about, but people don't want to part with it, so I figure I'm not the only one who thinks so. There are many rarer records that fetch a lot more, but they probably pale in comparison to MM......what would you rather pay your $$$'s for??......rarity alone or a bullet of a tune??
