  1. Still a ridiculous way to try to sell a record though.
  2. what a daft sales pitch!
  3. Wow bought this years ago off Gav and sold it on to Mark Raison (i think)....never did that much damage although its always been one of my favorite r&b records.....would of thought £60 tops for a mint one?
  4. Hasn't the Chick Carlton got a uptempo flip? First heard it on a Nancy Yahiro CD from way back when! Nice record...
  5. The Shrine complete set...mint.....imagine the clamminess of your grasp as you gazed down into that little lot. Six minters of Arthur Willis lying on top of a 20 count box of unplayed Del Larks demos. Nurse!
  6. Utter pigshit. Plenty of excellent house records out there, but this is both unnecessary and immature.
  7. £400 mark hope it does go massive over here always thought it was a brilliant dancer i paid £300 about two or so years ago and there was a copy for sale on a big site for £500...looks like its gone
  8. Hi Does anyone have this in VG+ or higher condition for sale please? Thanks, JM
  9. Swanflight are excellent for durability. Either that or Logicline for home storage.
  10. Selling this on behalf of someone else... £40 Mint pm if at all interested cheers! JM
  11. Butch ha done for sale just over a month or so ago.....not sure of condition
  12. cats out the bag big time.....would expect this to go pretty high
  13. 120.... 1984.....i've got to have your love anyone have a soundclip for this please? cheers!
  14. What a mental 70's piece of dancefloor magic
  15. Is there a price difference between blue and purple copies?
  16. One went not long ago on Ebay.....
  17. 2009-03-15 - VG+ - $107.50 2009-01-03 - VG+ - $159.90 2008-12-20 - M- - $162.50 2008-12-05 - VG/VG+ - $202.50 This is where i would of put it price wise too. I paid £150 off Butch at Cleethorpes last year for a minter out of his sales box. This record has virtually exactly the same backing harmony at one point as Lee Williams 'Girl From A Country Town' on Rapda......which is certainly no bad thing!
  18. Totally agree, one fantastic rare soul record, wish it was heard out more often
  19. Shouldn't be too hard to find MAK, has been quite a few on here recently
  20. 'Well I love it! And I for one would certainly dance to it if I heard it out.' Well you'll probably get to so nice one, everybodys a winner. Don't think I said it shouldn't be played?? 'Would it be so bad for one of those records to actually be an excellent piece of soul music for a change?' Think thats exactly what i just said??
  21. How many copies of The Prophets on Shrine (as in an actual Shrine issue)? Just Mick & one other guy I think?
  22. I couldn't see it ever setting a dancefloor alight admittedly but as a piece of soulful music its excellent. One for the session back at your house after an allnighter .....
