  1. Hi looking for this VG+ upward please thanks! JM
  2. Nick & Marco are on at the next Va Va Voom, so should be a top night Always a pleasure to hear Pete Hulatt play as well, some mighty 45s in his collection
  3. "On a more modern note, John Kane deserves a mention: The mans sheer enthusiam, professionalism and love of his music shines through from start to finish of his sets. Its not just the music, his delivery is in a differant leauge, the way he constantly monitors his dancers and works the floor is superb, and his use of the microphone is nothing short of 'radio class' A joy to watch & listen to, if you get the chance go see him grab it. " I can vouch for this too, great DJ and a lovely guy to boot. Had the pleasure of hearing him DJ last year out in Asturias.
  4. hip young crowd? northern?
  5. Heard this played a while back next to Ronnie West on Goins, sounded fantastic together.......
  6. Moerer has one but quite expensive. Great record!
  7. Manship has it at £200
  8. Interesting....would of assumed the JA issue to be harder due to the conditions often being worse and the low amount of pressings.....both beautiful labels to look at though! The other JA Glen (Ricketts) record on Sugar Cane is also gorgeous both aurally and visually....
  9. Is there not too issues of this on Hot Line? Pretty sure Tim's first guide lists two in it?? If so do they differ like Gerri Hall?
  10. trey js on tee gem...1:37 i think its says on the label?!
  11. thought the Stag was super hard? only knew of Ady Luptons copy and one in Sweden or somewhere?
  12. possibly one of the most soul-less threads ever?
  13. You lot have got too much money for your own good by the sounds of it.
  14. "I really don't see the point of posting a link to a live ebay auction, in this case I don't see a motive other than a record that the poster already owns (which he admits to owning) that he wants to maintain the value of, either because it somehow maintains its reputation as "top spin" or because he might even sell it later and doesn't want it to go low. Pretty weak. I hate when people post links to live ebay auctions here and I hate the stupid ebay ads here too, as it draws attention to stuff that I might otherwise get cheap as a buyer (but at least that probably gets Mike some money for the site). " The record is ok (and i am a big fan of newies and this type of record) but i wholeheartedly agree with the above.....please get rid of the ebay links!! People often post the auctions because they don't like the idea of a 45 of theirs going cheap, however I'm sure there were also quit a few people with this on their watch list anyway judging by the number of bids that supposedly came in at the end.
  15. This whole thing is completely crackers!
  16. "deleted post about levines gym" Has he got a gym? Wolf out of Gladiators had his own gym as well. It was loads for membership though.
  17. It was worth a try.......
  18. "I don't think there's anyone on here who I've had a run in with - and there have been hundreds - that I wouldn't share a pint with, and often do. So honestly, I think this is all being taken too seriously. Except for James and Ian, they hate each other with venom. " I'm saying we get them to have a manly wrestle in a mud pit at the next big allnighter to sort this all out. Anyone with me?
  19. "and I have the original acetate of "Marrying Kind" which came Via Rob" what a record to own....absolutely one of the best tunes i've ever heard, awesome in every way. Does it have any info on it as to where its from ect? cheers J
  20. I am criticising the editing of Soul Source that has allowed James Wool and his cronies a soap box to unleash sycophantic jingoism on the scene that has already quite clearly rejected his DJ spots. FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
  21. I heard the same Wand release thing about the Honeybees on Garrison as well? Is that also untrue Steve? Also, I thought the Walter Wilson was the hardest Wand?
  22. This thread is completely ego-tastic and a thoroughly humorous read: keep up the good work lads!
  23. Agreed, one of the best records being played at the moment. Excruciatingly rare as well. I think the flip is an instrumental of it?! Would of thought you are looking at 2k for a nice copy...?
