    Tony Smith has/had one as well. Sounds greats out in a club loud but having heard a soundfile of it recently in general the vocal isn't great......like a dodgy George Blackwell which would make sense i suppose. The backing is stunning though. Guide has it at £400!!!

    'crazy price brett, yes a good record, but £988 !!!!one went through the bay today for £460 !!!! which given the amount of copies you see around now is maybe a more realistic price. ' I haven't seen as many copies of this MB as 'Thank You Baby'? Or are they roughly the same in availability?

    I thought this was a good 45 too...guessing they were brothers of different ages as one vocal was a bit of a Jackson 5 era MJ soundalike....backing was very good as well.

    "Can't see why you're raving about this, always thought it was just a filler track compared to most of the Shrines!" Because its the best soul record that i've heard yet. I may change my opinion if i hear a better one, (certainly hope i do!!) but that one isn't Oh My Darling, great as that is i hasten to add ps. someone pass me the fish.....

    Absolutely. If you aren't experiencing difficulty breathing with how good that is you need slapping with a wet fish. And that has nothing to do with rarity or who played it when or where ect. If it was 20 pence worth, it would still be the unsurpassed example of black american music as high art that it is IMHO.

    It starts with a crescendo for flip's sake....you get the falsetto lead and yo think it can't get any better, then when the second vocal comes in its game over. Plus its got one of the eeriest backing tracks ever committed to vinyl. There, i've started, someone else finish

    Prophets best soul record i've ever heard. Probably one of the best pieces of music i've ever heard full stop. Could gas on endlessly about how good it actually is, but i won't because i'd end up boring myself. Chewed Mick H's ear off about it in Asturias, sorry Mick
