Ian Wright has one of them. Both sides are superb! One of the best things i heard last year.

Thought it was more like £250 for a nice Mainstream and £300 odd for a Jaber. Last i saw was Shifty's copy at £300 Jaber. Like this version best as well.

"Im assuming that's cos they copied lettering on much later "dark blue" bootleg from Lendo copy. As far as I know copies turned up more like 25 years ago and maybe earlier. Found by Larry Pietowski [Ray] on a Detroit flea along with "Do you want a boy" and "So What"by Carl Carlton. He sent me copy of each and "So what" went to Guy as an unknown so that hopefully gives an idea of when. Few years later in a garage in Detroit and amidst other rare 45s were 5 copies of the Rufus on Lendo. Seller had had them for years" Good enough for me i think? White Lendo's are originals....thanks for info Rod.

The flip of Chris Columbus 'Tighten Up 70' is a record with the same backing apparently...haven't heard it though.

Best three i've heard this year so far either in a club or on ss at home ect are Pzazz - So Hard To Find Sugar Bear - I Love You So also been really enjoying the Voicemasters Band acetate when it gets played

Best thing about the RR version for me was the nice little horns in it.

Tony Smith has/had one as well. Sounds greats out in a club loud but having heard a soundfile of it recently in general the vocal isn't great......like a dodgy George Blackwell which would make sense i suppose. The backing is stunning though. Guide has it at £400!!!
