  1. Haha BOTH Notations in one day. Some big ol' bucks being yanked out of some big ol' wallets today i'd imagine. This label has some great 45s on it - and all pretty obscure.

  7. Ah, thanks for the info. I knew Sam had one but didn't know where it had come from. I really like this style of soul but as you say could do with a better quality recording. Known it for a while but only from Manship's R of the R.
  8. At risk of slightly hijacking this thread - how rare is this Kitch (assuming it's 'Every Time I'm Near You')? I read on here the other day 'What It is' is the flip which means that side must of been issued twice. Amazing 45 and sounds like a Clay Brown record in many ways....
  9. Seconded - really nice!
  10. Many thanks Quinvy! Certainly sounds blue eyed? Not sure about the vocals but the backing and horns etc all sound like good uptempo schmutter. Imagine it works well in a nighter situation. Just need to hear the Magnetics now! :)
  11. Interested to hear what the Magnetics and Prophets cuts are like......which Wave label is the former on?? Is this any of the other Magnetics and simiarly is the latter the same group that recorded on Shrine??
  12. Ethics!!!!! WTF!!! This has been totally hammered. It's brilliant there's no doubt but £450 quid?! What about ebay??! Utterly stunned.
  13. My record box spits mint 45s back out. It refuses to accept 'em. Lord knows i've tried but it'll only take VG and downward, the stubborn bastard.
  14. Try Butch Dave sure he had one for sale not long ago.
  15. Amazing read thanks Andy
  16. Awesome info - many thanks everyone.
  17. Does any one have contact details for Graham Barber and or his brother who apparently regularly took photos at Wigan in the 1970s? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, J
  18. Mike - big thanks for that lead - top work
  19. Thanks everyone appreciate it. Would this of been a newspaper shot or a personal photo - big question I know!
  20. Does any kind soul know where this pic is from or better still who took it? Any info gratefully received! Thanks.
