What a missed opportunity. Within the top 500 northern soul tracks of all time, there are some that are aptly named and some that have used classical music elements. As the Royal Albert hall is the renowned home of classical music in Britain, I would have included 'Bok to Bach', 'A lover's Concerto', 'I hear a symphony', 'Soul symphony' and even the lesser known track 'Till the end of time' by Joe Buckman which is based on Frédéric Chopin's Polonaise in A flat major, Op. 53, the "Polonaise héroique".
Wish I had attended as I thoroughly enjoyed the unique event, which in the main did justice to the music that I love from my youth to the present day.
