  4. If you can confirm 100% that L.A are on then 4 tickets will be required. I actually guested once at the Palis back in '76 after doing St.Ives
  5. I have great memories of usetting many promoters in the North West by bringing The Capital Soul club "Up North" for the first time to do a nighter at The Viaduct. Irish Greg,Dave Flynn, Alan Hanscombe, Carl fortnum & guest Shifty we had a packer and ranks as one of the best nights i ever promoted
  6. I remember tracking Martyn down ( Took me over 4 years and he was only living 5 miles away) to do his first "Come back" spot for me at The Viaduct, he had to as usual borrow, beg or steel records to do the spot but he had lost none of his charm & wit. I got him through this to go on searlings show and if you heard that it was radio magic as Martyn complete with carlsberg special brew caused mayhem in the studio but it was one of the highlights on the then JazzFM
  7. I used to run a coach/mini bus to every nighter at St.Ives upto late 77 from warrington/St.Helens area meeting up with the brum crew, Sian from Bromsgrove (Girlfriend at the time), Val, Skippy,Mozzle, Donald etc On my coach do any of you remember our crew, Alex ferguson, Keith Brady, Andy Love, Janet , Billy holcroft, Gaz white & myself Alan Barnes
  8. As far as i know there was some shady dealings with Chris King being ripped off & then Neil who was always a gentleman & friend just dissapeared probably to spend all his energy on his everyday business. Nogger or Keith Minshull are probably the best to inform you. I always used to enjoy Bob anks warm up 1st hour
  9. Yes was made up with promotion this year & without the help of the managers dad's inexperianced players hopefully they will have back to back promotion & we can meet up at Burnley. Yes Keele was the last "Proper" allnighter where you could always gaurentee picking up that elusive vinyl long before the days of ebay
  10. I can remember having to meet up with you in The Snayed Arms after they stopped us using the golf club. Also never used to miss along with my buddy Steve Thomson. Sneeking out of the slip road off the services & trying to avoid the police
