Shame its only NS tracks as the LP version of the Floaters - Float On would win hands down...
-
It got played a bit on the London Jazz scene in the mid 80's as an alternative to Eddie Bishop, et al.

I had a high expectation when this was announced and was quite underwhelmed when I saw it. I thought they could have dug a bit deeper, but I suppose all the best unreleased stuff has already been picked dry. There's some great CD only tracks which could benefit from a vinyl release. Saying that, its nice to see Joni Wilson get wider access, which will probably lead it to be dropped from Up-Front playlists. So we might see some coming to the market.

Thought this was one of the private pressings made just for friends
-
an addition is: 557 - Willie Tee - First Taste Of Hurt / I'm Having So Much Fun

I followed a link from discogs and found this. https://www.garagehangover.com/monotones/ If its the same Mark Loyd, it says his real name was Nigel Basham

The problem with that, its the seller who takes the risk if a package gets lost or damaged in transit not the buyer. They're the ones who have to put in a claim on the postal service for loss or damage, which is why some sellers are less happy putting a low value on the packages as that's the amount they can claim if anything goes wrong.

Ecko did release a few singles over about a 5 year period, but I believe that stopped around 2000.
