  1. **SALE**UP TO 50% OFF***BARGAINS Lovations - I Don’t Want You (Cap City) strong Vg+ (plays mint) Was £350 NOW ONLY £200 Absolutely stunning and rare girl group lowrider that’s very much in demand. Cannot believe this hasn’t sold already, with recent sales of £450+ at Ex and above and whilst this has a few light marks and some label discolouration it plays beautifully! Got to be an absolute bargain at this price! https://youtu.be/YprLGnks62I?si=UCKVr008TdFrECUG Edwin Riley - I Love My Baby/Will You Still Love Me (Sunni) Vg+/Vg Was £150 NOW ONLY £75 Tough Texas twofer here. Top side is superb mid tempo northern that, thanks to rarity, has had little exposure, flip it for an incredible slab of R&B that like it’s topside still has plenty of legs in it. A scarce 45 that is rarely offered in any condition or on either of its two releases, like many this has multiple surface marks. Topside plays Vg+ with only the occasional light crackle, the flip has slightly more crackle although still plays Vg and has one tiny skip during the sax break which could be repaired easily. I have played this out and really does sound pretty good. Some ring wear and WOL but you ain’t getting a mint one of these anytime soon and it is very much priced accordingly. Sound files from sale 45 available on request, YouTube links below for reference only (although both sides play as well as clips). https://youtu.be/v-rU21GxvW0?si=D_-FsQyQhm0sfUqM https://youtu.be/cjQ0t8smF3I?si=PKNm3KY0CFfuwblR Herb Johnson And The Impacts - Where Are You/I’m So Glad (Brunswick Gold Reissue) Mint- Was £100 NOW ONLY £50 With Toxsan originals never showing up (last Discogs was nearly four years ago and sold at £500, so who know hat it would go for now), and Brunswick second press copies at least half that price, this official re-issue has seen a steady rise in price, with Discogs sales peaking recently at £100! 2. Lovations - I Don’t Want You (Cap City) Vg+ (plays mint) £300 Absolutely stunning, and rare, girl group lowrider that’s very much in demand. Plenty of recent sales of £450+ at Ex and above and whilst this has a few light marks and some label rub, it plays beautifully! If I were a rich man I’d keep this. 3. The Wrong Rain - I’m So Proud (Tomi) Vg- £100 Simply stunning ‘Shades of Sorrow’ blue eyed lowrider and easily the rarest of the three, arguably the least known too. Just two recoded sales on Discogs and up until yesterday only once through eBay. A mint copy, sold by Carolina Soul made $441 a few weeks ago. Looks like the word is finally out on this rarity. Condition - lots of hairlines, no big deep marks or loud clicks but some light background crackle - may benefit from a professional clean (someone like Yann could probably get this up a grade quite easily). Priced accordingly (and still cheap!) YouTube for reference only (please DM for clip from actual copy for sale). https://youtu.be/4U1LaJ4av-c?si=LPxqChPfyb4G4462 Herb Johnson And The Impacts - Where Are You/I’m So Glad (Brunswick Gold Reissue) Mint- £65 With Toxsan originals never showing up (last Discogs was nearly four years ago and sold at £500, so who know hat it would go for now), and Brunswick second press copies at least half that price, this official re-issue has seen a steady rise in price. The mid tempo ‘Something’ will appeal to dancers and could easily crossover to the northern scene whilst ‘Love’ is a Shades of Sorrow style lowrider that seems to have, thus far, escaped attention. Can’t decide which I prefer TBH, both have been on repeat since it arrived. 4. Gillettes - Same Identical Thing (J&S) Mint- £350 No introduction necessary, still on of Stafford’s finest. So hard to find these days, Manship auctioned one this year achieving £400, a record that isn’t ever going down in price and one that’s a long way from being overplayed! Superb copy, clean labels- stunning! https://youtu.be/y18BfS2cDc8?si=FCOY_J6SBG-MxTgI Lovations - I Don’t Want You (Cap City) Vg+ (plays Ex) £350 Absolutely stunning and rare girl group lowrider that’s very much in demand. 5. Hal Hardy - Love Man/House Of Broken Hearts (Hollywood) Mint- £100 Double sided dynamite! ‘House’ will bring back fond memories of Stafford for many, but has had little exposure since and consequently has plenty of legs left in it. But it is the flip side that’s caused a stir in more recent times, a fabulous R&B dancer that is as instant as any I’ve heard (great spoken intro too). One that doesn’t come to market often and this is a superb example. https://youtu.be/SDsH9aOBl6g?si=vOPBMXPhNTEvjyIJ https://youtu.be/rc7ugWTNEwQ?si=Wp8ldbb4pJNrNldH Herb Johnson And The Impacts - Where Are You/I’m So Glad (Brunswick Gold Reissue) Mint- £100 With Toxsan originals never showing up (last Discogs was nearly four years ago and sold at £500, so who know hat it would go for now), and Brunswick second press copies at least half that price, this official re-issue has seen a steady rise in price. 6. Edwin Riley - I Love My Baby/Will You Still Love Me (Sunni) Vg+/Vg £150 Tough Texas twofer here. Topside plays Vg+ with only the occasional light crackle, the flip has more persistent crackle (this may benefit greatly from a good clean/wood glue treatment). Some ring wear and WOL but you ain’t getting a mint one of these anytime soon and it is very much priced accordingly (would more like £350 if both sides were Vg+ or above. 7. Soul Mates - Too Late To Say You’re Sorry (Parlophone) Mint- £125 Lesser known, killer female beat ballad (Stafford ) that very barely ever turns up on US Marina and seems tough to say the least on UK Parlophone. Recent sales in this grade have been £150 despite it being relatively under the radar. Lovely copy in company sleeve. https://youtu.be/Tc-_wrOdCvU?si=2WZHK4UaV2Swtvex Gene Woodberry - That’s Not Half Bad/Everybody Can’t Be Pretty (Del-Val) Mint- £75 Okay, okay so it’s not bloody ‘Ever Again’ but the earlier release of the criminally underplayed flip side. Quality, underplayed northern to a tee for a fraction of the price! Don’t ignore the flip of this either, Woodberry’s quality reworking of The Casinos flip to ‘If I Told You’. Lovely condition and a 45 that barely shows up these days, should be £100+ https://youtu.be/frCN9SZM5F4?si=kVurmh682Y_-Z9eW https://youtu.be/QI_BCegE1vg?si=Jl1tGbsu4Nvcj-jK Bruce “Hey Baby” Channel - There Must Be A Love Somewhere (Le Cam) Ex £30 Lesser known male vocal version of the storming Betty Brooks rarity on the same label. This has sold at £100 in the past and certainly got bags of potential for a forward thinking DJ. https://youtu.be/-s4d-k4sIE8?si=SINdgx5Rzn5-YLSR PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. 8. J.H. + The Esquires - Stay By Me (Mus-I-Col) Mint- £150 Beautiful blue eyed ballad that’s both very rare and still very much under the radar. Just nine times through eBay and only four through Discogs. Gorgeous copy that looks unplayed! https://youtu.be/fskhNihiqkI?si=9qZXG6jsknwQ-sUD Johnny Neel And Shapes Of Soul - You’ve Got To Hold Me (Richie) Mint- £150 Rare, obscure and an absolute killer slab of blue eyed kiddie sweet soul. Even rarer than the 45 above going by Discogs (just two) and eBay (three). If this was better known it’d be twice this price and then some, one that can only rise in value. Again a gorgeous copy that looks unplayed! Don’t sleep. https://youtu.be/KUXZHVWZLXU?si=xnauaFbnwLk6VZ1e The Wrong Rain - I’m So Proud (Tomi) Vg- £150 Simply stunning ‘Shades of Sorrow’ blue eyed lowrider and easily the rarest of the three, arguably the least known too. Just two recoded sales on Discogs and up until yesterday only once through eBay. Last night’s copy, a mint copy, sold by Carolina Soul made $441. Looks like the word is finally out on this rarity. Condition is not great on this one, lots of hairlines, no big deep marks or loud clicks but light background crackle throughout - would benefit from a professional clean (someone like Yann could probably get this up a grade quite easily). 9. Marion Deaton Group - Baby I Still Love You/What You Gonna Do Girl (Disc) Ex £40 Two nice blue eyed sides here, killer early ‘70s garage soul ballad that’s very much under the radar, flip it for a moodier funk edged stepper. Has a top sale price on Discogs of over £120 and what copies are available are all £50 and over so this seems a decent price for a tough double sider. https://youtu.be/FADp-i5Vtak?si=FREm7Pt2pc6zZBgz https://youtu.be/KdsFPHqZDK0?si=8Kkqul9EcSN7Zkut Marquee Review - I Had A Dream/Comin’ Back (Butterick) Mint- £35 Another twofer and one that’s been the subject of some interest in one or two groups recently having had both sides receive an airing at the first LockUp curtesy of Caroline Mansell. Top side is a gorgeous Shades of Sorrow style blue eyed ballad recently uploaded to Jack White’s (highly recommended) YouTube channel and the flip is a horn driven garage dancer that sounds right for now. Cheap (for now ). https://youtu.be/KBf1Qohj_Mo?si=XeZ4aQ7RZat4UwHw https://youtu.be/-3DrzaHpd94?si=Qqn4zoztBXhaVmxJ 6 Tickets To Shangi-La - I’ve Got To Find A Way (Talmu) Mint- £30 Intriguing and infectious garage dancer by the equally intriguingly named 6 Tickets To Shangri-La. Getting some attention in Europe thanks to one or two more upfront DJs and venues. Another you should get before it goes up! https://youtu.be/vDejpAYKXeU?si=_wgvTAO6sKuNd5Yg The Only Ones - The Party’s Over (Sight) Vg+ £25 Another Shades of Sorrow style garage ballad, totally unknown too. Not on YouTube - DM for clip you’ll be surprised how good this is for the price! PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. Postage UK £3.50 registered and insured, Europe £8.95 tracked and signed. USA £12 tracked and signed. DM or email gspluck@aol.com to reserve or for more information. Please note I do not hold records for more than 12 hours unless agreed in advance.
  10. Georgia Soul Twisters - My Love Tonight (Mainstream) Vg+ £250 Reluctant sale here. Killer raw R&B influenced group 45 that’s as rare as hen’s teeth. Barely known and with hardly any exposure, thanks to it’s ridiculous rarity, only available on issue this side and it really never turns up. Bags of potential in right hands with appeal across Northern, R&B and Popcorn scenes. Don’t sleep. https://youtu.be/zaRaB1AEtqU?si=89AeXYjtnldjlFIY Gene Woodberry - That’s Not Half Bad/Everybody Can’t Be Pretty (Del-Val) Mint- £100 Okay, okay so it’s not bloody ‘Ever Again’ but the earlier release of the criminally underplayed flip side. Quality, underplayed northern to a tee for a fraction of the price! Don’t ignore the flip of this either, Woodberry’s quality reworking of The Casinos flip to ‘If I Told You’. Lovely condition and a 45 that barely shows up these days. https://youtu.be/frCN9SZM5F4?si=kVurmh682Y_-Z9eW https://youtu.be/QI_BCegE1vg?si=Jl1tGbsu4Nvcj-jK Eddie Sull - I’m Looking For My Baby (Marc) Mint- £75 Seen at £100, a cracking slab of R&B tinged northern soul. Lovely copy that looks almost unplayed. https://youtu.be/mmrHNPYN-Vs PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. Postage UK £3.50 registered and insured, Europe £8.95 tracked and signed. USA £12 tracked and signed. DM or email gspluck@aol.com to reserve or for more information. Please note I do not hold records for more than 12 hours unless agreed in advance.
  11. Renaissance Of Rhythm - There Is No Time (RMP) Mint- £175 Ooof! Northern meets R&B, meets Funk with a splattering of Garage Soul for good measure creating an infectious and furious dance floor banger with killer breaks. This has everything needed to crossover to a number of scenes and it’s a rare one! Last couple have been £200+ on Discogs and it has a high sale of £373 on eBay. Just the one YouTube clip (and that’s recent) and barely seen on playlists in the right hands this could be massive. https://youtu.be/HB7tzo0RpJw?si=wvObKe49I5ukGa6I First Grade - Please Come Back (Frog) Mint- £125 Fabulous Garage Soul dancer that has had some northern plays in the past but is definitely right for now. Sounded great when played at The LockUp last Saturday by Dazz Holt. Last few on Discogs have been £200 and I’ve seen a couple in the past at £150 so think this is a fair price given it’s rarity, quality and potential. https://youtu.be/2DamT5gZIE0?si=69ldQnlT3C0oNkvw Compass - (You Are) Spring Of My Life/That’s Enough For Me (True Love Records) Ex £75 Superb double sided Garage Soul 45, topside is a sublime piece of crossover soul, flip it for a slice of funk edged mid tempo that’s had a few plays across Europe and at RSF events. My last copy went via private sale to the first person I offered it to - one to watch for sure and not an easy 45 to find! https://youtu.be/vAr26CZdRAA?si=pJ_pUt9mRsg9SpHU https://youtu.be/v4xLe1TbbXk?si=b7QOj6gO7MK2IfCj Nialations - I’ll Take You Just As You Come (BRC Demo S/M versions) Ex £25 Sublime seventies sweet soul/crossover 45, lots of demand stateside for this amongst the lowrider collectors and rightly so. My last copy flew out at £55 and I’ve seen sell at £75 more recently, great copy. (N.B. This is the demo so has Mono/Stereo versions on both sides and does not include the crossover cut ‘Every Time’ or it would be three times the price). https://youtu.be/o4X9AkWTUEs PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. Postage UK £3.50 registered and insured, Europe £8.95 tracked and signed. USA £12 tracked and signed. DM or email gspluck@aol.com to reserve or for more information. Please note I do not hold records for more than 12 hours unless agreed in advance.
  12. Danny White - King For A Day (Kashe WD) Mint- £250 Up there with Frank Tenella and Gerald Trotter IMHO as one of the finest lowrider deepies. Gorgeous WD of a 45 that’s proving harder and harder to find with demand increasing (over 450 ‘wants’ on Discogs now), can see this one doubling in price over the next few years like so many others. What few copies there are out there are carefully tucked away in collections. A very reluctant sale - don’t sleep. https://youtu.be/KmvJkSkavYc Moovers - I Love You Baby/One Little Dance (Brent) Ex £75 Big, big demand on this one currently with a high of £150 and most recent sales around the £90-100 mark. A double sided group harmony lowrider 45, top side is gorgeous ballad, flip is a mid tempo number that’s picking up plays here in the UK and in Europe so I’m told. Price is gonna rise on this one, a bargain double header. https://youtu.be/X1MJrPjh1qg Nialations - I’ll Take You Just As You Come (BRC Demo S/M versions) Ex £30 Sublime seventies sweet soul (classy bit of alliteration there too LOL), lots of demand stateside for this amongst the lowrider collectors and rightly so. 13. Glenn Earl And The Soul Providers’ Band - My So Called Friend (What A Friend) Ex £175 Mega rare funk edged obscurity that sounds bang on for now. Very, very rarely offered for sale in any condition - it’s never sold on Discogs (where only three people claim to own a copy) and it’s only appeared twice on FB sales groups. Just the one YouTube clip too clearly rarity and obscurity the only things to have held this back, a sleeper that in the right hands could become a very expensive and in demand 45. https://youtu.be/xH36fDSOkxg?si=n2YRHZEr3k5FOmX_ PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. Postage UK £2.00 standard first class or £3.75 recorded, £8 special delivery registered and insured, Europe £8.95 tracked and signed. USA £12.95 tracked. 14. Fascinators - Can’t You See I’m Lonely/I’ll Be Gone (Burn) Vg+ (SOL (distributor) ‘I’ll Be Gone’ side, WOL on other side (see pic)) £250 Exceptionally rare double sider on the tiniest of local labels rarely turns up at all and when it does is often beat. Top side is mid tempo male group harmony that will appeal to both northern and popcorn collectors. Flip for a killer girl group (same name but most definitely not the same group!?), lowrider that’s owned and known by very very few. John Manship auctioned a copy about four years ago where it made over £300 and its last Discogs sale went for much the same (and was only Vg) so this is pretty reasonably priced given rarity/obscurity/quality. https://youtu.be/rRirnKA-65Q?si=3IZrbaA4lr56XP-e https://youtu.be/MGdj1tUa3Yw?si=oz8_IEvzAZK7bxfH PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. 15. Down Beats - Why Do You Love Another/You’re The One (Dawn) Vg+ £600 Emotionally draining, sensational lowrider dagger that just never ever seems to turn up. More than 600 wants on Discogs with its last sale well over a year ago at £500 and its most recent eBay appearance (around the same time) reaching £780+ this 45 is in serious demand! Don’t ignore the northern flip side, but in all honesty it’s that killer ballad you’re paying your money for. Don’t even blink never mind sleep. https://youtu.be/Xc0ceXlrbeQ?si=dxwtNCdLceRFfeYQ PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. 16. Otisettes Featured With The Johnny Otis Show - Sitting Alone (In My Lonely Room) (Epic) Mint- £75 Lovely copy of this gorgeous female lowrider favourite, seen the price rising sharply recently too (top price of £100 on Discogs from a recent listing). Not an easy find either despite the big label. https://youtu.be/qOblSpxcZO0?si=PNxxqxQGsD2jMuoh Augustine Twins (Don & Ron) - Everyday Of My Life/My Place (Duke) Ex £50 Killer Texas (just wait for those Texan horns) lowrider that seems less well known on this side of the Atlantic. Recent sales have seen this be on the move so maybe the word is spreading (or US demand is still driving the price). Don’t ignore the dancer flip either! Doesn’t show in nice condition often. https://youtu.be/CW0KnKeN2_g?si=X9L-VOggGPupaeJb https://youtu.be/3qW_kd7q-mo?si=DFXxTogh2WlToFVh Nialations - I’ll Take You Just As You Come (BRC Demo S/M versions) Ex £40 Sublime seventies sweet soul (classy bit of alliteration there too LOL), lots of demand stateside for this amongst the lowrider collectors and rightly so. Been rising in value recently as copies are ferreted away into collections (seen nice copies sell at £75 recently). https://youtu.be/As_IPCJrj2g https://youtu.be/Z58CdKZfA2s PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. Paul ‘Guitar Red’ Johnson - That I Love You (Kellmac) Ex £175 I had so many enquiries for this one last time I had a copy, clearly people are beginning to wake up to the enormous potential and rarity of this killer chugging mid tempo slab of dirty northern R&B that will have its day (maybe that day has finally come). One of the hardest on the label and certainly the least known. Was a c/up for Keb Darge in the halcyon days of Stafford but like do many it had a few plays before being dropped and has never surfaced since. Last one I had could’ve sold multiple times and am told £150 was too cheap given its quality and rarity so I’m very put this one a tiny amount. Don’t sleep. https://youtu.be/CLxPxIXv3pk PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. Postage UK £1.80 standard first class or £3.50 recorded, £8 special delivery registered and insured, Europe £8.95 tracked and signed. USA £12.95 tracked. 19. Danny’s Reasons - With One Eye Closed/Thinking Of You (Hand) Mint- £225 Dynamite double sider alert. Top side fuzzed out psych/funk banger that’s had plays on RSF and in the US/Europe. Flip it for a killer blue eyed ‘Shades of Sorrow’ style lowrider that’s still relatively under the radar. Hard record to find and seen at £300 recently. https://youtu.be/4sKPGUr8d0k?si=7qRQUndNOG2P_Gi- https://youtu.be/j9y5zdrSWRo?si=ouf_ACnhpD96mjsN Soul Brothers - My Love For You/Those Magic Words (Gold Chip) Vg+ £150 There’s rare and then there’s stoooopid rare and this falls into the latter category. Also released under the guise of The Charles Marlborough Group on yellow vinyl (and you probably won’t ever see one of those!) only lack of demand thanks to being relatively unknown outside those in the know stopping this from being big money. A chance to own an almost exclusive double sider that sounds bang on for now. https://youtu.be/wO29ar-GeeQ?si=MrH0B_bnGhZCdUNi https://youtu.be/duB2W4dnj7g?si=wNNkwrQHPjMV_5Cu Mauds - You Made Me Feel So Bad (Mercury) Vg+ £40 Reliably informed this killer slab of garage soul has had plays in ‘90s and here and there since and yet has still to crossover to the wider northern scene. This honestly blew me away when I first heard it, garage soul at it’s very best and still cheap (well for now)! If you don’t like this then there’s little hope for you https://youtu.be/tdvDbBN3EvY Original Misty Hush - Tell Me Baby (Dynamic) Vg+ £50 Killer ‘Shades of Sorrow’ style blue eyed ballad, that could well end up a high value 45 once the lowrider crowd get to hear it. A chance to get one cheap before it ends up silly money- it certainly has all the ingredients to! https://youtu.be/W87NCGRykc4?si=n_t7lJ6SDyP9M9L6 PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. 20. Flint Emeralds - Is It All A Bad Dream/You Don’t Know That I Love You (Coconut Groove) Ex £300 Double sided dynamite! Gorgeous lowrider topside that’s driving the big price surge on this one (last three decent copies have been over £300 on Discogs, with a vg selling at £266 recently). Flip is a criminally underplayed dancer that’s has some exposure on the continent and at some of the more upfront venues. Lovely copy. https://youtu.be/M1u0mPdDwIk?si=k0BRnNrNAqO7wNzo https://youtu.be/8PDtoOfIYgo?si=mKQkrLrjqIpZS9WI PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. 21. Bobby Wade - Can’t You Hear Me Calling/Four Walls One Window (Way Out) Vg+ £50 Killer lowrider double sider that, despite its more common later release on Deluxe, has seen prices hitting £75+ for copies on Way Out. A decent play copy with some light surface marks but seems to have dried up on Way Out due to US demand https://youtu.be/Jqpz1mL-Kg0?si=-hDJLUMXH0v8livD https://youtu.be/QHVf6lA1Irc?si=3YrPvBmOonAnHwIM Music City Soul Brothers - Looking For My Baby/Something In My Eye (Music City) Vg+ (title crossed out in biro on one side see image) £35 Wow! Pick of the batch for me, two great sides of lowrider group harmony but it’s the R&B tinged ‘Looking For My Baby’ that is a stone cold killer. If this record were rare the price would hit the roof! The best £35 record currently in FB! https://youtu.be/kuJk91rCKM4?si=eBPKNozggmVRxBal https://youtu.be/6Po9NTAtwkI?si=3vxhPyE7nLpWBs_U Deltones - How I Wish (Teen) Vg+ £50 Can’t believe this hasn’t sold already seen at £150 before now, last reduction before I keep it! Better known for his in demand rarity ‘Gray Skies’, this is Mike Lundy and The Deltones only other recording (even the flip is an entirely different group) and like the aforementioned 45 this is another killer blue eyed lowrider ballad out of Hawaii. Rare one! https://youtu.be/o5npL9z6sXY PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. Postage UK £8 special delivery registered and insured, Europe £8.95 tracked and signed. USA £12.95 tracked. 22. Joyce Kennedy - The Hi Fi Albums And I (Blue Rock) Ex £50 Had a multitude of requests for this on the last couple of occasions I listed it and it’s no surprise! What a tune this is! Blue Rock big beat backing on the killer slab of deep with a beat. Starting to get interest on the lowrider circuit but remains for now under the radar and not common by any means! Expect this one to climb in price steeply. https://youtu.be/YGdV5OhT_cQ Billy Sha-Rae - I’m Gone (Spectrum) Ex £50 In demand funk edged version of Eddie Parker’s seminal northern monster. Maroon (first press), prices going up and up on this last year or so and last few I’ve seen have been £100! Lovely copy close to Mint. https://youtu.be/nR6cpCiB_CY?si=iF05rGqtSgEnsEMo Deltones - How I Wish (Teen) Vg+ £50 Can’t believe this hasn’t sold already seen at £150 before now, last reduction before I keep it! Rare one! https://youtu.be/o5npL9z6sXY Alan David - Aware Of Love (UK Decca) Ex (centre missing) £35 Wonderful UK only (?) blue eyed version of this superb Mayfield/Butler composition. Demand still high for the killer Embers take but here’s a different but equally good take. Some plays on the Popcorn scene but not widely known as far as I’m aware (of love ). Seen at £100+ so this is an absolute bargain! https://youtu.be/0aMN1oTcmBM?si=kUHfkzHqJ3AZed1Y Little Tommy Payton - Once In My Life / Once Again My Girl Has Gone (Harvest) Ex £40 Mega rare kiddie soul ballad, only recently uploaded to YouTube with a flip that’s equally as good and yet to make its online debut. Very tough 45 to acquire (seen at £150-£200) a nice clean copy here for what’s a relatively cheap price given this record’s rarity. https://youtu.be/sutymut9CZU PayPal as friends and family or add 4%. 23. Fred Parris and the Restless Hearts - I’ll Be Hanging On/I Can Really Satisfy (Green-Sea) Mint- £350 One of THE must have lowrider group harmony 45s. Like so many other previously ignored, tape swapper and collector 45s (remember this from Stafford?) this one finally getting its time in the limelight thanks to demand from lowrider collectors. Very few records can match the impact this bomb has when it drops, price has risen steeply and shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. Lovely copy, don’t sleep. P.S. don’t ignore the criminally underplayed dancer on the flip! https://youtu.be/z4Ihnh8AaKI https://youtu.be/ByuVDqzaeUw Sabres - It’s All In Your Mind (Prince) Ex £300 Absolute killing blue eyed lowrider 45 that’s on everyone’s wants list! An inferior copy went through eBay a couple of weeks ago at $400 and it does not show often! A stunner and one from my personal collection. Shocking finances force reluctant sale. Don’t sleep! https://youtu.be/8O8vSeynakw?si=oG6DZNh5PqxtegtV Deltones - How I Wish (Teen) Vg+ £75 Better known for his in demand rarity ‘Gray Skies’, this is Mike Lundy and The Deltones only other recording (even the flip is an entirely different group) and like the aforementioned 45 this is another killer blue eyed lowrider ballad out of Hawaii. Blue Rock big beat backing on the killer slab of deep with a beat. Starting to get interest on the lowrider circuit but remains for now under the radar and not common by any means! 24. Tru Tones - La La La La La (Spot) Vg+ £100 Infectious under the radar garage soul/R&B that is damn hard to find! One play and you’ll be hooked, sounds perfect for today’s dance floors, had some plays thanks to the likes of Thomas Shore but will be new to most. Last copy I had went privately to a well known DJ down south. https://youtu.be/9HDDaYS-gsA?si=P0RAidD6PVyCm6rd Deltones - How I Wish (Teen) Vg+ £100 Better known for his in demand rarity ‘Gray Skies’, this is Mike Lundy and The Deltones only other recording (even the flip is an entirely different group) and like the aforementioned 45 this is another killer blue eyed lowrider ballad out of Hawaii.
