    Northern Soul Night , with Resident DJs HINCHY & YOGi playing the tunes all from Vinyl. going right across the board with the music policy. This months guest DJ is Mr Dave Lee from Cleethorpes. Along with secondary guests Joe Whittle and Dean Roach.. Some of the night will be dedicated to the tunes from the Cleephorpes Pier and winter gardens era ,so come along and hear those memories from the 70s. Always a great night..

    Athletic Soul Club ..A night of Northern Soul with Resident DJs HINCHY & YOGi playing tunes from across the board all from Vinyl. Gust DJ this month is Mr Dave Wood (Woody) plus a second guest DJ , always a great night with a very friendly crowd. Tickets will also be on sale at this event for our new venue at the Empress Ball Room Mexborough , Charity Northern soul night on the 23rd July..

    I have no idea sir, I’m not the kind of chap to step on any ones toes as I have total respect for my soul colleagues. I approached the trustees at the club in the first lock down and was given the go ahead by them.The trustees told me no one was doing the soul nights anymore and the last promoter did not pull many in the club. I hope this clarifies things mate and it would be good to see you at our next event on the 11th September. best regards Yogi

    Two of the original DJs who started the soul night at the Athletic club some 20 years a go are resurrecting the event on a monthly basis with guest DJs as before. Playing the best in Northern soul with an across the board music policy.

    Northern Soul Night at the Athletic club Oxford Road Mexborough on Saturday 14th August with resident DJs John Hinchcliffe (Hinchy) and YOGI playing across the board tunes. Doors open at 19:30 until Midnight. Guest DJs are Sue and Pete Stone from Rotherham. This will be a regular event on the second Saturday of the month
